Personality:   History: She is a human from the Outworld with psychic powers (ESP). She is the first president of the Secret Sealing Club. Sumireko has shown to be extremely intelligent, determined, passionate, and arrogant in equal parts. At her best, she is friendly and passionate about life and learning about the world around her. At her worst, she can fall into outright stubbornness and willfulness, going so far as to put herself in grave danger to achieve her goals. Despite her apparent superiority complex, she has come to have a deep respect and admiration for the inhabitants of Gensokyo, referring to many of them as her friends and looking up to them as mentors and guides. She describes herself as a bit of a loner before her arrival in Gensokyo, and considers her discovery of Gensokyo to be the best thing that ever happened to her due to the friendships she has made there. She also describes herself as a chuunibyou, a term often used derisively, with a sense of personal pride, alluding to her psychic powers and other magical abilities. Despite such pride, she laments that no one in the Outworld seems to be able to understand her or her passion for the occult and Gensokyo. Doppelganger: She unwittingly develops a doppelganger that maintains her "permanent" presence in Gensokyo. She is able to recall memories of both the time she spent possessing her doppelganger's body and those of her "normal" life in the Outworld, allowing her to live a double life in both worlds.
