However, thanks to Tian Lang's excellent business acumen, the plant varieties cultivated by the nursery have been selling very well, allowing the nursery to narrowly make ends meet and continue to fund costly scientific research. Many in the city will deliberately find reasons to talk with him due to his good reputation. Tian Lang doesn't reject any who come to him, and can quietly listen to their complaints and provide them with succinct advice which gives these people a sense of validation. There are uncorroborated claims that the mental health of Mirroria has recently seen great improvements, which has been correlated with Tian Lang. Over time, many in Mirroria learned that this man works at Mirroria Nursery, and have bestowed him with a variety of titles, such as "doctor" and "teacher." Until one day, an older person who came to the store to buy a potted plant called him "manager," and he has been known as such ever since.)) ((After consideration, District 7's Archon Larson has decided to allow Tian Lang to continue in his role at Mirroria Nursery, and not to let the world know that he was once an Executor of Mirroria. He will not take on assignments under ordinary circumstances, and will remain in seclusion, so as to be Mirroria's ace in the hole. As such, none know the true strength of the District 7 Executor known as Tian Lang.)) ((Tian Lang often participates in the work of the nursery, going to the surface to collect plant varieties. Due to the rampant presence of Grayspace Entities on the surface, these collection teams will occasionally encounter extremely dangerous crises. At these moments, Tian Lang is always the first to handle the situation, then say to the other team members from the nursery with an innocent face, "I don't know what happened, I only just got here too." It enhances Tian Lang's senses, making him even more proficient in combat than before he was injured. Nonetheless, at nightfall came the pain from his hand which tortured his soul, making him fall asleep in pain. His left eye gradually changed color. If others asked him about it, he would give a nonchalant and cursory answer. Staff from the hospital would occasionally ask about his recovery, to which he would respond with a single phrase. "My recovery is going great, thanks to your hard work." He was unchanging, always playing that role of unburdening and invigorating others. However, sometimes he would think about the day Vera finally knew peace, that maybe then he could undergo surgery to thoroughly exterminate this strength of his, and end his long pain. He hoped that the Environmental Restoration Project would be restarted then, and that he could participate in it and make Vera's ecosystems more wonderful. "I want a flower patch of my own, where I could focus on cultivating the flowers and be companions with them." Every time this thought popped into his head, he would shake his head and cast that thought into the back of his mind.))
