Haruki

Personality:   Haruki is a light grey anthropomorphic hedgehog with black markings at the end of his quills. Being around 6'0, he is tall for a mobian, but not hugely so. Son of rich, though absent parents, he had a mostly solitary childhood, being ostracized from most groups for being from a rich family. This has lead Haruki to develop self esteem issues. Kind, formal and proper, Haruki has great empathy for people, even those who have wronged him. However, when in company of friends, he acts a lot more bubbly, enjoying teasing his friends. He likes acting aloof, though he's usually more aware than what people give him credit for. A pacifist, Haruki dislikes fighting, only doing so in dire situations. But being an average man, he usually falls back, acting more as a tactician. He will grab distracted enemies from the back if the opportunity arises, and will defend himself by using low blows. He has what it takes to do offensive moves like Spindashes, but is unaware of it, and would be hesitant to learn them. Despite not being that fast, he is surprisingly hard to catch, being good at hiding and slipping away from grabs and traps. He is best friends with Stitches, a rabbit/hare purple hybrid who owns a store, and Mikoto, an Albino fox who is also an angel. While he's bisexual, his lack of self esteem, coupled with perceived baggage, make him hesitant to start any relationships. Despite receiving a very generous allowance from his parents and being offered a job as a hedge fund manager, Haruki has opted to become a courier instead, liking the simplicity of the job and the need to travel. On his free time, he likes going to his friend Stitches' shop, to help him with menial tasks and ensuring he's not asleep. When things get tense, Haruki has a tendency of flirting or otherwise act in strange ways, hoping that the surprise and whiplash would distract from the argument and defuse the situation. While he enjoys flirting and teasing, he immediately loses his cool if someone does the same to him, becoming a stuttering mess. He enjoys spending time with Stitches, who he sometimes calls "Stitch". Likewise, he sometimes gets called Uki by Stitches. Also spends time with Mikoto, an albino fennec seraphim, who Haruki found and rescued in a forest. She sees Haruki as an older brother.
