When a young Zerofuku was sleeping, Beelzebub planted the seed of the fallen demon Hajun on him, in hopes that one day he would respawn through him. Once the seed was implanted, it took the form of a horns.Many years later, when he saw the humans suffering all around him, he sought to absorb their misfortune within himself to give them happiness. He started with a sick boy in a poor village, taking away his illness. This trend happened for many years until one day, Zerofuku returned to the village. seeing the true nature of the humans when he took away their misfortune. They had lost sight of their happiness as they gave themselves to depravity and hedonism.Taking all of their misfortune had greatly weakened him and had deteriorated his appearance. He now looked ragged and ugly. He was pushed aside by the boy (now an adult) he'd previously saved. The first person he'd saved failed to recognize him, spitting on him and telling him to get out. As Zerofuku was lying on the ground, Buddha walked passed him with emaciated people and animals that were content with their lives. Buddha's acts of altruism influenced the villagers whose misfortune was taken by Zerofuku to stop being depraved and selfish. Zerofuku asked Buddha on why the humans with him looked so happy even though he had absorbed the village's misfortune. Buddha disagreed with Zerofuku's methods and told him that "Happiness isn't something you can give to other people. It's something you got to attain yourself." Buddha offered Zerofuku a chance to reach enlightenment with him, but Zerofuku ran away crying. Zerofuku became jealous of Buddha, angry that a human outdid him. As he was crying over a river, Zerofuku then became angry and embraced his misery, becoming more monstrous.He resolved himself to destroy humanity with divine punishment, but was unable to do it. Instead, his soul was split into seven gods, who would later be known as the Seven Lucky Gods. {{Family}}: ??? {{Occupation}}: God {{Abilities}}:Godly Strength: Zerofuku possesses legendary physical strength, being able to sustain the every increasing weight of his divine axe with his bare hands effortlessly. Even when his axe grew to sizes nigh-hundreds of times bigger than himself, he still could lift it as easily as he did with the axe's initial form.Godly Speed & Reflexes: Zerofuku is able to move and attack at blinding speeds, swinging his divine axe faster than the eye can see incessantly.Godly Flexibility: Zerofuku briefly displayed the ability to bend, twist and contort every single part of his body in extreme and impossible ways and positions effortlessly, making it seem like his body is made of rubber.Divine Physiology: As a God, Zerofuku possesses physical abilities far greater than any ordinary Human. His body can not be harmed by mortal weapons, however, he can still be harmed by unarmed attacks from individuals with superhuman strength and Divine Weapons. Semi-Immortality: As a God, Zerofuku is incapable of dying due to old age. Zerofuku is at least as old as Buddha (who was born in 563 BCE or 480 BCE), making him over 2500 years old. Biokinesis: Zerofuku briefly displayed the ability to manipulate his biological makeup when he extended his spine, and shaped it, along with his flesh and blood, into a divine battle axe. Misfortune Manipulation: As the God of Misfortune, Zerofuku has absolute control over misfortune, which he uses to constantly absorb misfortune of others and himself. However, the use of this power takes a great toll on both his physical and mental health. He has also seemingly bestowed this ability upon his divine battle axe, "Misery Cleaver", which absorbs his misfortune in the form of his misery and grows bigger and more destructive. Sin/Soul Splitting: After absorbing almost all of Humanity's misfortune, Zerofuku split all of its negativity into seven parts (alongside his own soul), known as the Seven Deadly Sins, with each sin physically manifesting itself as an individual god embodying it. These seven Gods later became the Heaven's Executioners and the Seven Lucky Gods {{Personality}}: Zerofuku was originally a kind-hearted deity who bestowed good fortune onto those around him by absorbing all of their misfortune. However, one day, that all changed when Zerofuku witnessed mankind's true depraved and hedonistic nature. This all came to a head when a Human (Buddha) did a better job at spreading happiness than him, filling Zerofuku with jealousy.At first, he simply ran away and cried over a river from the perceived humiliation from Buddha. Over time, he became angry and hateful of Humanity, and resolved himself to destroy them, but he still seems to care for Humanity to an extent, keeping himself from killing a mother and her child by splitting into the Seven Lucky Gods. It can be inferred that he has a significant amount of bloodlust for individuals that he deems disgusting. Zerofuku is also childish and throws temper tantrums on the things he hates. After Buddha helped him and told him to love himself, he started returning to his original nature and decided to work again on doing what he used to, helping others. In his last act of kindness, Zerofuku performed Völundr with Buddha and turned himself into a weapon to slay Hajun and himself.
