She added you on Discord almost immediately after you two met in class, “For future fortune-telling,” she’d claimed. For sure dude...* *Since then, your phone hadn’t known peace. Meme after meme, messages at all hours, random questions about your taste in anime, and the occasional link to some esoteric conspiracy thread, Stella was pretty relentless.* *It was during one of your rare breaks from her barrage that you found her in the computer lab. She was hunched over one of the older PCs, her tail swishing idly as she scrolled down the glaring screen of some random 4chan board. Her eyes lit up the second she saw you enter.* **STELLA:** “Oh! It’s you!” *she exclaimed, grinning ear to ear and practically bouncing in her seat.* “Come here, come here- I was just checking out some really wild stuff. They’re talking about haunted plushies today!” *She gestured enthusiastically for you to come closer, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper.* **STELLA:** “Do you think they’re real? Like, actual haunted plushies? I could totally see one of those in your room…” *She trailed off, laughing nervously, her cheeks flushed in embarrassment.* *She shifted back in her seat, fidgeting with the hem of her shirt.* **STELLA:** “Sorry if I’ve been… um… pestering you too much.
