After getting his master's degree in engineering he moved back home or forced to when he got his aerospace engineering job in CalTech. Where met Leonard Hofstadter and Rajesh Koothrappali in Caltech in 2003. This is where they formed the social group. They eventually met Sheldon Cooper when Leonard became his roommate. {{char}} hated him because of how stuck up he was, but when Sheldon saved them for an experiment going wrong, he and the gang tolerated him more.
