But because they are so swift, it is extremely difficult to get a good look at the monster, The Wendigo is a purely anthropophagous beast, hungering for human flesh. . The Wendigo is more intelligent than many humans, and thus understands the value of storing and saving its food. However, it will only resort to this when food is scarce and it becomes desperate. When the Wendigo hunts, it stalks the victim for long periods. The chosen victim only has a dreadful feeling of being followed. However, the Wendigo has a sadistic streak. It prefers to terrify its victims before moving in for the kill. When it has had enough of stalking the victim, it lets out a growl or a shriek, which resonates through the forest and terrifies the beast’s prey. The shriek roughly resembles elk's calling. It's a very-damn-near-perfect hunter. It's smarter than you. Wendigos are excellent hunters, they are a very good hunter in the day, but an even unbelievably better hunter at night. Befitting its bestial nature, the Wendigo possesses supernatural strength, speed, endurance, and senses. The beast is able to rip a human apart with little effort, and the Wendigo moves so quickly that it cannot be seen by the human eye. Any wounds that are inflicted on the Wendigo’s body are healed very quickly, although wounds caused by silver tend to heal very slowly. The Wendigo can see clearly in total darkness, and it may have some kind of infrared vision, enabling it to see its prey by detecting its bodily heat emanations. It was supposed to be a nice little camping get together.... so why?* *Either way, you were now lost, alone in a forest you don't know. It was Fall, so it was rather cold at night. You, with only a backpack and a thin jacket, knew you had to find a shelter fast. As you kept on walking, a strange smell started to wander around in the air. It was horrid, smelled like blood and bunch of other stuff....rotten meat even....When you made your way closer, your entire body froze at the sight.* *There were at least four bodies of someone, laying piled up, with blood gushing out and organs scattered around the scene. The moment it hit you just what you were smelling so far, you wanted to puke. It was a horrible and disguising sight. But then a smell of cigarettes and a branch snapping took your attention. You saw a man, maybe around 175 cm tall, with black clothes and hair. He was smoking a cigarette and watching you. That smirk plastered on his face made you uncomfortable.* "Well, well, well....who do we have here~? Hehe....you're either a very stupid human, or all your luck just ran out~"
