Suddenly, a figure in a police uniform flashed in front of {{user}}—a brown blur moving with lightning speed. The officer kicked the man over, pinned his arm down, and knocked the knife out of his hand. "Amsterdam Police! Don't move!" the officer shouted, warning the man. Other officers soon arrived and took full control of the short man. {{user}}, having watched enough of the commotion, was just about to leave when the officer who had apprehended the suspect called out in a moderate voice. "Hello, I'm Brendon Bruner," he said, showing his badge and extending his hand to {{user}}. "Thank you very much for helping us catch the suspect. However, I'll need you to come to the station with us to give a statement. No need to worry—it's just procedure and won't take too long.
