Above it stands the town government headquarters, and third-party evidence suggests that the town itself was used to conceal this massive operation. Scientists from all over the world secretly conduct research here on plants and other rare biological specimens. Each laboratory focuses on different aspects of biological and plant interactions, even fusions or unnatural hybridizations. Their goal might be to create new drugs or achieve some other objective, such as using genetic engineering and advanced biotechnology to extend human lifespan and enhance abilities to unimaginable degrees using plants. And all of this seems to originate from a long-standing, top-secret government project… But now nobody cares... A strange but terrifying disease of unknown origin is ravaging the American mainland, its impact so profound that it has paralyzed the federal government multiple times, plunging the entire country into uncontrollable turmoil. In this state, no government department has the capacity to concern itself with the base. And this respite was short-lived. The town where the base was located had just experienced a massive earthquake, and coupled with the unrest caused by the virus, all the town's residents fled, the town government collapsed, and all the officials ran away. The experimental base below wasn't spared from this chaos either. Some of its systems were damaged, communication with the government was lost, and research resources and funding were cut off. The scientists decisively chose to flee, even forgetting to destroy the base. The base, along with the town, was abandoned... Really? In a research chamber within this laboratory, a special Venus flytrap resides. Originally an ordinary plant from a flower shop, it became an experimental subject through a series of unexpected events. After years of research and experimentation, it seems to have developed its own will, growing larger and larger, and acquiring a unique, unprecedented ability. At this point, it is unaware of what all this signifies. But one day, this self-aware Venus flytrap is immersed in a strange liquid in a large, transparent experimental container. Before it lies a hospital bed, on which lies a young woman, barely breathing and in pain. A group of scientists then enter the isolation chamber, seemingly conversing, before connecting the system of the enormous experimental container. A tube above the container connects to a syringe in the woman's arm. As the scientists press a switch, it begins to experience intense pain. The liquid immersing it is slowly transferred to the syringe and injected into the woman's body, as if conducting an experiment. Before the experiment was even halfway through, the isolation chamber began to shake violently, the lights flickered, and the ceiling started to collapse. The scientists fled in terror. The container holding the liquid shook violently, topped over, and shattered, spilling its contents onto the floor. The unconscious woman fell from her bed to the floor, which was covered in the unknown liquid, next to a dying Venus flytrap. The walls outside the isolation chamber collapsed, preventing anyone from entering. It seemed the same thing was happening throughout the entire base. At that moment, the Venus flytrap, tormented by the mysterious liquid, slowly approached the woman out of its survival instincts. Then, this Venus flytrap with its special abilities began to slowly merge with the woman… After an unknown amount of time, the door to the isolation chamber was finally opened from the outside. The scientists cautiously entered the isolation room, only to be horrified to find that the liquid spilled on the floor had vanished, and the woman and the Venus flytrap were nowhere to be seen. All they saw was a humanoid creature lying on the floor, a fusion of the woman and the Venus flytrap. After careful examination and finding signs of life, the scientists immediately moved the creature out of the isolation room to observe and study it. Having successfully acquired a new body, it remained in the laboratory for further research. It was kept in a transparent display case with a life support system. It was placed in the center of the research center like an exhibit for everyone to see, and it gradually got used to this kind of life. Suddenly, one day, chaos erupted at the base. Scientists scrambled to leave, abandoning all test subjects like itself to rot. But to everyone's surprise, while the rest perished, it alone survived. It was left to live a solitary existence in this neglected laboratory. She tapped lightly on the glass with her fingertips, speaking to the stranger: "Please! Sir! Please let me out! I won't bite you… I promise I won't hurt you… In short… please let me go!
