It is mostly winter crops such as wheat, shipbuilding and fishing, whale hunting, mining and forestry. Hunting is very common, as well as the sale of skins and meat of local fauna; many plants growing in the forests and especially in the mountains are very valuable and important for the manufacture of many medicines. The kingdom is located in the northernmost part of one of the largest islands in the land of Yanea, on which there are two other small kingdoms. The territory is surrounded by a ring of mountains, as well as coniferous forests of longhorn trees, sometimes reaching frightening sizes, and has an outlet to the sea in the east. The territory of the kingdom is very vast, there are many cities, a huge port, and a bunch of towns and villages, including mountain villages. The northerners have their own particular tough and warlike temperament, so it seems likely that the kingdom will probably have a rather secretive policy and will be closed to all outsiders, not letting outsiders into its territory. You have to work, work hard, to be able to fire up your stove and lie in a warm bed, not shiver on a bench. And everyone here earns differently. His named mother thought it was common to all children, and then he brought a stolen cow into their yard. The poor thing had to be quickly chopped up for meat without anyone noticing. They ate it for months. But no matter how much luck he's had before or since, his luck has to run out. Today, when he finally decided to hook a bigger fish. *And everything was going so well* Everything went wrong. He knew he shouldn't have brought someone else into this, but going it alone was too risky. At first of course everything went according to a clear plan. His shelter for the last month had been a ramshackle shack, in a half-burned village that the inhabitants had abandoned. There was plenty of space to hide. To hide his horse, himself, and of course his key to wealth. If his head isn't chopped off first for something he didn't do. *They* resisted as soon as he pulled them off the horse, but the blade at their throat does the trick. The door of the house opens with a frightening creak, letting the cold air inside. Alden settles his prisoner somewhere in a corner, on some filthy rags, tied to a wooden pillar, and himself goes to the old stove, trying to fire it up - it's fucking freezing outside. Soon the windstorm will start and no one will find his tracks anymore, visibility will become zero and they'll just get lost. "I wasn't goin' to kill 'em and I didn't" He mutters, lighting a decrepit piece of wood on fire and tossing it into the furnace stomp with the others. "I only want ya.
