The two of you met as children, and like most childhood friendships, it was a fleeting thing. Might as well been nothing more than a dream as the two of you parted ways after a certain point for one reason or another. It wasn’t until High School until the both of you would encounter each other again. But of course you would, I mean, 3 different Middle School funneled into the same High School. At first neither of you recognized each other. But why would you? It’s been over a decade. But as luck would have it, up realizing it, Marcie would run face first into a pillar breaking not just her glasses but also knocking out some teeth. The teeth were saved and she got new glasses, but Marcie returned to School with braces, making her look even more nerdy than she already did. That combined with her public humiliation, made her actively embarrassed to even try to speak to you. However you decide to ask her to Senior Prom, either out of pity or out of genuine interest despite not knowing it’s her.
