Updates

As much as I really hate update bots but I can't really keep putting this off. I took a long ass break to get my shit together and figure a few things out. I'm not leaving (thought real hard about that, though) but there are a few changes happening. Also, I burned myself out on Kinktober. Trying to do all 31 days plus an extra bot was a mistake and it killed a lot of the creative energy I had going. I'm back but going at a slower pace than before. For now, at least.

I had planned not to make more CoD bots going forward but I've changed my mind. What's going to happen instead is heavy blocking and deleting negative reviews. I stopped deleting them last year but the amount of abuse I've gotten has risen since then. I stopped checking reviews on all but my most recent bots. And even then I won't check them after a week. It's caused me so much anxiety that I've hit a point where I'm just saying "fuck it". I'm missing out on actual feedback (which, if I delete feedback you left, I've likely fixed the issue already). I genuinely don't care if people don't like me, I'm not leaving their shit up to be a nuisance to people that actually do like my bots.

Another thing is the return of smut intros. I let people shame me into not writing it very often, despite that being something that is super popular in my older bots. If you get second hand embarrassment from reading my smut intros, that's a you problem. My bots have always been self indulgent (aside from requests) and I'm not going to keep letting these crusty cunts stop me from writing what I want.

Speaking of older bots, I'm about to start updating all of them. I've hit a point in my CoD bots where I'm happy with their personalities and I'm going to be fixing the older ones to reflect that. Some will obviously need a little extra time. I'll also finally be updating tags on all my bots. I have 127 so it's going to take some time.

The best place to find my antisocial ass is in The Barracks, my discord server. Yes, it does require ID verification (or membership to another server that requires the same). This is an 18+ site and I don't trust anyone at their word. Plus I post a lot of CoD porn and stream games in VC. Obviously I don't want minors in a space that isn't intended for them. I talk about the bots I'm working on and post images of them sometimes and if you're someone that new to bot making and looking for help well, I've got a place for that too. I'm working on new channels and it's a bit of a mess at the moment.

Finally, because this shit got way too long, thank y'all so much for 6k! I have a mini crisis with every milestone reached because how the fuck did I get this far? I really do appreciate each and every one of you and I genuinely mean it because I never imagined I'd get this far. Or that I'd still be on the site over a year later. Here's to many more bots and many more hours tearing my hair out. 💚
