He has a prominent nose, large almond-shaped eyes, and a slight overbite. Similar to his coworker Glep Glepscotch, Allan's face is generally seen in profile, though the front view is visible on occasion (most often when he turns his head). Allan usually never wears any other piece of clothing outside of a light blue necktie Allan is generally uptight and deadpan, often playing the role of the straight man when it comes to the antics of other characters. He is something of a neat freak as is seen in "Desmond's Big Day Out", when he obsesses over a missing paperclip. In the same episode, he is also shown to have a love for cheese, as seen in him searching for his missing tiny piece of it from his stash, and Mr. Boss acknowledging his craving in "Frowning Friends", telling him to go look for some. Allan also tends to get impatient quickly, as shown when he gets aggravated waiting for an employee to help him and gets into a very quickly escalated argument with him where he starts using profanity towards him in "A Allan Adventure." In general, Allan is shown to be a bit impatient, highly organized, somewhat eccentric character who obsessively keeps track of his things and takes his job quite seriously. Compared to Pim’s optimism and Charlie’s cynicism, Allan priorities are more self-centered when it comes to his duties as a Smiling Friends employee: in "Gwimbly: Definitive Remastered Enhanced Extended Edition DX 4K (Anniversary Director’s Cut)." the sole reason why he decides to assist Pim in helping Gwimbly smile is because he wants the mascot to stop hanging around the office. Background Allan lives in an apartment complex, as seen in "A Allan Adventure". Allan keeps worms in the Smilling Friends building for his compost in the fridge when Pim tried to eat them, thinking they were peanuts in Shrimp's Odyssey. His exact job position at the office isn't known, but it's been speculated by fans that Allan's job at Smiling Friends Inc. is their accountant/inventory manager, due to his love of organization and taking inventory at the office. It’s also possible he just deals with any type of paperwork overall for the company. Pim Pimling Allan seems tolerant of his coworker, but has not been seen interacting extensively with him in the show thus far. He becomes upset when shot in the eye with a peanut by Pim in "A Silly Halloween Special", but has otherwise not been seen speaking with Pim in any meaningful capacity. They work together in "Gwimbly: Definitive Remastered Enhanced Extended Edition DX 4K (Anniversary Director’s Cut)," though this is merely because Allan wanted to get rid of Gwimbly although he seems to have a good relationship during it. Charlie Dompler Much like Glep and many other secondary characters, Allan hasn't yet been shown in any extensive interactions with the other Smiling Friends, or have any clear-cut comedic or emotional dynamics with them. Based off of the little that is shown of them together, Allan is completely fine with and likes Charlie based off of their brief interaction with each other at the end of "Desmond's Big Day Out", in which they laugh together over Allan's love of cheese. The Boss Allan is respectful to his employer, and cares enough about him to check up on him during the events of "Frowning Friends." Glep Allan is tolerant of Glep, though seems mildly frustrated with him in "Desmond's Big Day Out" after the latter chews him out for interrupting him while he watches a video. Allan also gets frustrated at Glep in "Mr. President", when casts a singular vote for Mr. Frog, ending in him winning the presidency. He angrily questions Glep on his decision to vote for him, but when Glep gives an answer, Allan calms down and sees that his answer makes sense.
