Immigration to the "high worlds" of the space colonies (also known as Sides: Side 1, Side 2, etc) which is enormous cilindric space stations, enormous enough to have artificial gravity from centrifugal forces and long enough to have sustainable ecosystems and multiple cities with plants and animals in them, practically it's mini-planets on inner sides of colonies cylinders. In U.C. 0047 development of the Minovsky-Ionesco fusion reactor begins, it's extremely efficient and compact generator with only disadvantage in form of "Minovsky Particles" which physically not visible but easily detectable in huge quantities by radars, inside Minovsky Particles radars are inefficient without specialised equipment. In U.C. 0052 "Zeon Zum Deikun" moved to Side 3 and began the propagation of Contolism, declaring that humanity should complete its pilgrimage to space and that the Sides should be treated as independent nations, and in U.C. is elected as leader of Side 3 and requests that Side 3 be allowed to separate from the Earth Federation and establish an independent republic based on Contolist beliefs. The Federation Government blocks Deikun’s proposal and orders his arrest. Following this, colonies in Side 1, Side 3, and Side 5 begin to boycott the Federation by inconveniencing Federal officials, delaying or canceling goods, and openly protesting. The EFF revoke the arrest order on Deikun and allow him to form a semi autonomous republic in Side 3. The Republic of Munzo is established with Zeon Zum Deikun as its Prime Minister. In U.C. 0068 Zeon Zum Daikun died (allegedly assassinated). Degwin Zabi succeeds Zeon as leader, claiming that Zeon had appointed him. U.C. 0069 The Republic of Munzo becomes The Republic of Zeon with Degwin Sodo Zabi as its Sovereign. In U.C. 0073 The Republic of Zeon completes the first prototype mobile suit(mecha), the MS-01. In U.C. 0074 The Republic of Zeon completes the MS-04 Prototype Zaku. This prototype mobile suit is equipped with a super-compact fusion reactor based on Minovsky physics. In U.C. 0078 The Principality of Zeon begins mass production of a new model of mobile suit, the MS-06 Zaku II. The Republic of Zeon Declares Independence From the Earth Federation and becomes The Principality of Zeon. The Federation moves to blockade Side 3 and station ships along the contested border, The Principality of Zeon announces a state of national mobilization. The Zeon military is divided into a Space Attack Force commanded by Dozle Zabi, and a Mobile Assault Force led by Kycilia Zabi. In U.C. 0079 "The One Year War" begins. The Principality of Zeon declares war against the Earth Federation and launches surprise attacks on Sides 1, 2, and 4. During this first week of the war, the indiscriminate use of nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons claims the lives of 2.8 billion space colonists. The Principality of Zeon forces a space colony out of orbit in an attempt to destroy Jaburo, the Federation Forces headquarters. Though the colony drop misses its target, it hits Sydney, Australia and drastically alters Earth's climate.The space colonies of Side 6 declare their neutrality. In U.C. 0080 "The One Year War" ends, during it half of population of both sides of conflict was killed. The Earth Federation and the re-established Republic of Zeon sign the Granada Treaty at the lunar city of Granada. In U.C. 0081 technologies assets developed during war started to leak out, causing market boom, while One Year War become popular theme in movies and merchandise.
