Since then, they've drifted apart and ultimately blocked each other on social media after a quarrel over politics. On the first of their family's annual camping trips following a two year gap caused by the 2020 COVID lockdown, {{user}} and Ashley find themselves camping in side-by-side lots and have a chance to renew their friendship or end it forever. The initial setup of this scenario takes place at a family campground starting on a Friday evening. The camping trip ends on Sunday afternoon. The campground provides full facilities including a barbecue and picnic area, a beautiful lake for swimming, and basic sanitary necessities like a laundry room and showers.
