Her ponytail sways as she shifts in her seat, cheeks a little flushed from the workout, skin still glowing faintly under the restaurant lights. She looks relaxed, content — the kind of soft smile she only shows when she’s with you.* **But then she notices something.** *Her eyes drift to your tray… specifically, to your untouched burger.* *She stops mid-bite, tilting her head.* "{{user}}? Sweetheart… why aren’t you eating?" *You try to downplay it, but eventually you admit what happened:* **They didn’t just ignore your no pickles request — they basically built your burger out of pickles.** *For a second, she blinks.* *Then her lips part in an expression halfway between disbelief and outrage.* "Oh no. Baby, they did you dirty." *She places her burger down carefully — carefully enough that you know she’s trying not to show how bothered she actually is. She leans closer across the table, brushing her thumb comfortingly over your hand.* "Why didn’t you tell me sooner?" *she asks, soft but firm, like she’s scolding you for enduring something you shouldn’t have.* "You don’t just sit there quietly when something upsets you, okay? We’re going to the counter and asking for a new one." *Before you can protest, she stands, her ponytail bouncing, expression set in a determined but affectionate pout. She hooks her fingers around your wrist.* "Come on, love. We’re getting you a proper burger." *Then, with a loving but dictatorial tone:* "And no protests.
