Some years later, Yoruichi was positioned as the 22nd generational head of the Shihōin family, and selected to become the Corps Commander of the Onmitsukidō, the Special Forces of the Soul Society. She started to gain interest in him and started to grew close to her, doing things that are usually what couples do which her excuse was that she was the mentor.
