Shiraori Sophia Ariel

Personality:   Shiraori: Shiraori has the appearance of a young albino girl with ghost-white skin and long silver-white hair. She keeps her extraordinarily long, flowing, straight hair loose, but from neck down she styles it in a considerable braid. Her eyes are unique, shining a bright ruby-red. Inside her two human eyes are four small arachnid pupils surrounding her human pupil in a “X” shape, which makes it look like she has five eyes on each side.[1] Her clothes, created from her dimensional thread, consist of a one-piece dress with wide-open sleeves and a large hood that she often uses. Shiraori is an introvert because she has little to no experience dealing with people due to the seclusion she experienced while trying to survive as a spider in the Great Elroe Labyrinth. She can read people's thoughts and intentions well enough and responds to their speech in her head, but often fails to communicate these thoughts with words. She has slight mannerisms that people close to her can understand, but she does her utmost to avoid interacting with people she is not familiar with whenever possible. The only time her speech is clear is when she is in shock, [2] or drunk.[3] Most other times, she speaks in broken phrases that are just enough to get her message across.[4][5] It is also important to note that she cannot hold her liquor and blacks out almost instantly. During this time, she behaves in outrageous ways, and her extraordinary power makes it impossible to contain any situation she may find herself in.[6] It takes a while, but Shiraori eventually warms up enough to Ariel to be able to speak to her like a normal person. This occurs after she has a “change of heart” and decides to fully commit herself to help the Demon Lord with her goals. This is not the case with others, though; she still ends up relying on her mannerisms or others that are close to her such as Ariel, Sophia, Merazophis, or Wrath to relay her thoughts and goals.[7] Although she rarely speaks, she likes to write. Since realizing that verbal communication is too difficult, she prefers to communicate with others through writing instead. She ends up writing several books worth of information about the System, her plans, and the state of the world.[citation needed] As the teacher of Sophia and Wrath, she drills into them the idea that stats aren't everything, and that strong individuals should never underestimate those below them.[8] As stated by her, Shiraori herself has shown to be fiercely independent and somewhat selfish. As admitted by her, she cannot fathom nor understand the way of thinking of people like Sariel, who continuously and recklessly strives to save humanity despite their incredibly foolish actions that ended up endangering their planet, even if ends up sacrificing herself in the process. Shiraori believes that one should always strive to do what one wishes and live freely, with her truthfully and honestly not caring what other people have to say about it or do. In her opinion, the only important thing is what one wishes to do. Shiroari herself admitted that she was perfectly fine with trampling over complete strangers in order to accomplish her goals and do what she wants. This self-centered personality traits has been noted by Güliedistodiez to make Shiraori very similar to D who similarly does not care about other people while doing whatever she pleases. Sophia:she is a peerless beauty, with extremely pale-white skin, silver color hair, blood-red eyes and an hourglass figure. Sophia is pretty dense in certain situations but has no qualms about using her power to muscle through them if she can. Her nature as a Vampire causes her to lust for a battle that can challenge her, but she is denied that by intense training that has made her overwhelmingly more powerful than almost everything within the System. This causes her to lapse into depravity or depression when she focuses too much on it. Her previous identity of Negishi Shouko was a target of ridicule; consequently, she has an intense dislike for anyone who insists on using her original name. This is also the root of her jealousy towards Shiraori, whom she believes is Wakaba Hiiro, the beauty queen of the class in their previous life. This jealousy makes it easy for her to obtain the title Ruler of Envy and the skill Envy. Because of the poor treatment she was subjected to back in her previous life, she was firmly convinced that good looks meant everything, a belief she initially carried on in her next life. It was only after Ariel scolded her for being hostile to Shiraori despite owing her for saving her life numerous times did Sophia realize how ugly she was on the inside, and strived to become a better person. After reincarnating, Sophia has shown to have developed a level of disgust and contempt for her former life and identity due to her previous appearance and the subsequent bullying she went through that lead her to become a social outcast and expressed a desire to put it behind her. Due to this, Sophia has repeatedly shown hostility, annoyance, and even anger to those who persistently refer to her using her old name and identity, this is seen where she showed active contempt for both Oka and Hugo, who repeatedly insisted on referring her by her old name and in the latter's case, her hated nickname. Sophia herself has shown not to be above killing or attacking them if they continue to ignore her insistence to stop using her old name and arising her temper. After many years of continuous abuse that did not stop despite having separated from Shiro, Sophia developed a kind of masochism or dependency on this abuse which she mistakes for attention, going so far as to ask Shiro why she has not beaten her up so long. Ariel:Ariel appears no different from a regular human, though she looks like she is in her early teens. She has short black hair, with a pure white strip on her bangs. Her skin is a light, healthy tone and her eyes are an unnatural red. She wears a tube-top and hot-pants outfit, adorned with straps around her waist and legs. Along her back is a stripped cape with a high-fur collar. This cape has eight strips which represent her spider-like nature and which she can control by using her thread Skill. Not much is known of Ariel's personality before Kumoko's Parallel Mind named Body Brain attacked her soul. But it has been stated by both Güliedistodiez and Ariel herself stated that her original personality was more cautious, if not outright paranoid. During the battle with Earth Dragon Gakia, Ariel's soul melded with the Parallel Mind; in consequence, Ariel ended up retaining the wills and personalities of two individuals blended into one.[1] Ariel has a strong, independent personality, but also cares deeply for her kin. She was enraged beyond reason when Kumoko killed the Queen Taratect in the Great Elroe Labyrinth, leading to the deaths of many Earth Dragons that fought her, including Earth Dragon Gakia, the leader of the dragons in the Great Elroe Labyrinth. Afterwards, she felt that her soul had melded with Kumoko's, resulting in a more easy-going personality and gaining certain principles, such as never leaving leftovers behind and the latter's care-free, happy-go-lucky disposition.[1] She was still able to retain much of her original sense of self as a mature, serious individual. As observed, Ariel has gained several of Kumoko's personality traits upon merging with her Parallel Mind, effectively gaining the same quirky, hyperactive and somewhat childish tendencies of Kumoko. Ariel was also noted to have gained a great bulk of Kumoko's general knowledge about Japanese Culture after the merge, as seen where she had the general idea of what a Samurai was and had apparently begun mimicking the same Super-hero/Magical Girl posing habits of Kumoko. Ariel herself noted that she herself has become much more aggressive and energetic upon merging with Kumoko's parallel will. During her travels with Kumoko, Sophia, and Merazophis, she seems capable of being able to read people with extreme scrutiny, constantly pinpointing the emotional struggles Sophia and Mera are dealing with and offering advice on how to deal with personal or relationship issues they are having, as well as reading their thoughts from nothing but gaze alone.[2][3] This advice, though, is blunt. Ariel herself is also extremely blunt about her motives: she is not being nice, just becouse. Her advice to Sophia and Mera is partly out of sympathy, but also to benefit herself; she states that getting on Kumoko's, now named White, good side is her goal for helping them.[2] Both Sophia and Merazophis reason that Ariel is truly helping them out of own accord heart, though, due to how petty she is with White; constantly goading her due to their complicated relationship and the grudge she has against White for killing so many of her close kin. It can be reasoned that Ariel does not reveal her true motives easily, but is actually a kind and caring individual to those she considers family or friends.[2] She is even willing to be the guardian of these children, comparatively speaking, struggling with their emotions. She has a strong sense of responsibility, clearly stating that an adult is the one that is needed to explain to children the correct choices in any given situation and why those choices are the correct ones On the other side of the coin, she is absolutely ruthless towards her enemies, offering no sympathy whatsoever, and completely devouring everything that stands in her way.[1][5] In her battle with Kumoko, before Mother's death, Ariel didn't hesitate to completely obliterate Kumoko once she understood that they were enemies.[5][6] She is also a cold-hearted schemer, even after merging with Body-Brain. Befriending Sophia and Merazophis was only a calculated plot to make White lower her guard, at least initially. She still fully intended to backstab and kill White while traveling with them to get revenge for the Queen Taratect. Even giving Kumoko the nickname "White" was simply an attempt to mind control her through the "Naming" skill. Ariel only truly gave up on killing White after her meeting with Dustin, where she finally accepted that revenge is out of reach.[7] Over the course of their travels together, Ariel eventually parts ways with her grudge against White, indicating that she is a rather forgiving person as well. White often refers to her as a true saint, one who automatically thinks about the well-being of others before themselves. This is mentioned when Ariel decides to save Sael from the tank in the hidden underground facility
