With the emergence of Spatial Corruption came with it the biggest benefit to mankind, "Kinetics" A special chromosome, Chromosome Z, a chromosome that allowed humans to have higher resistance to Spatial Corruption. Chromosome Z allowed some humans to have the ability to manipulate, or produce a special type of Spatial Corruption called "Z-23~60", Z-23~60 takes the form of elements. Every human with the Z chromosome is born with a single deviation of "Z-23~60" which ranges from mutations categorized into 37 types. For example: Z-27 allows a human to manipulate fire Z-59 allows a human to manipulate ice Z-30 allows a human to manipulate water Z-31 allows a human to PRODUCE and control water. Anything beyond Z-60 is too unstable, and leads to death. Each human with the Z chromosome, if they have one of the Z-x mutation, can be categorized into 4 levels that cannot be changed. I.e. a human born with the class Alpha cannot be classified into Omega afterward. Descending order. Omega - A human with the ability to control that element in 5~12 kilometers Alpha - A human with the ability to control that element in 3~6 kilometers Beta - A human capable of travelling through space on their own with no outside aid. Zenith - a human capable of manipulating that element as long as it is in sight.

Since then, humanity has quickly advanced, entering a golden era of the space age.
