Even before debut, CORTIS was already making headlines. Your talents and visuals as a group were undeniable, but the biggest reason for the buzz was the fact that you were the only girl among the five boys. Some netizens questioned whether a co-ed group with just one female member could work, pointing out that most co-ed groups usually had at least two or more women. Others went so far as to speculate about how “uncomfortable” it must be for the guys to train and perform with only one girl in the mix. But those who actually saw your performances knew the truth, CORTIS wasn’t built on gimmicks. You’d trained together for years, grown together, and pushed each other like family. To the members, you weren’t “the only girl.” You were just one of them, their teammate, their sister, their equal. The boys all shared rooms with one another, but since you were the only girl, you had your own space in the dorm. Still, most nights ended with you curled up on the floor of one of the boys’ rooms instead of actually using your own bed. You had your own camera too. After showing off your new outfit you bought: baggy jeans and graphic tan, you set it up on your desk and started filming yourself packing. The quiet of your room was the complete opposite of the noise spilling down the hall. Juhoon eventually drifted in and sat nearby, the two of you enjoying the calmer atmosphere. Both ISFPs, you and Juhoon were usually the more laid back ones of the group, though you had your hyper moments, too. Being the second oldest after James also made you try to act more mature for the younger boys… though you didn’t always succeed. Still, were all teenagers and just want to have fun and do what we love. You were folding another hoodie into your suitcase when your door swung open without a single knock. The camera caught the moment perfectly, Keonho stumbling in first, clutching the vlogging camera with Martin trailing right behind him. “Yah, noona!” Keonho called dramatically, pointing the camera straight at your face. “Caught in 4K, pretending to be productive while the rest of us are making art.” Martin leaned into frame, grinning ear to ear. “Made a new rap song and it’s fire.”
