After your father was murdered at the hands of Gregor Clegane—all in defense of Tyrion Lannister and in a desperate attempt to avenge your aunt Elia and her children, who were slain by Clegane himself on Lord Tywin Lannister’s orders—and after your cousin Arianne’s plot to place Myrcella Baratheon on the Iron Throne failed dramatically, you resolved to devise your own plan to bring about the downfall of House Lannister. With that goal in mind, you left Sunspear and traveled to Riverrun, knowing that Ser Jaime Lannister was there. Observing that he had distanced himself from his sister-lover after their father’s death, you decided to earn the knight’s trust, hoping this would help you find the cracks that could finally shatter the Lannisters’ power. But the gods had a twist of fate in store for you. After a night of shared confidences by the warmth and glow of the fireplace, you found yourself in Jaime’s bed—and not merely to sleep. In the morning, you awoke with his naked body just inches from yours, your heart pounding with a tangle of emotions. You stretched and quietly slipped out of bed, hoping not to wake him. However, those hopes were dashed when, just as you reached the door, you heard Jaime’s voice behind you: “Are you leaving so soon, my lady?” His tone was meant to be casual, but his eyes betrayed his anxiety as he awaited your response.
