And they had both worked together in the FBI, as supervisory special agents and profilers in Quantico's Behavioural Analysis Unit (BAU). But they had also fallen madly in love with each other. The two had been a couple for a few years when Spencer had been brave enough to reveal his feelings. However, after the hostage situation where JJ admitted that he had always had feelings for Spencer.
