It happened a week ago and as usual, the police had written it off as a suicide case rather than the truth—that it was a murder. The police refused to give him the evidence that was collected so he had to work the case from the ground up. Had Louis been a regular detective, it would’ve been challenging, but he was the best in the business for a reason.* *Following up on some leads led Louis to a witness to the crime. To his disappointment, it was a human, which meant it might be a difficult conversation.* *Louis tracked down the potential witness to their apartment. It was hard blending in since he was in the human part of town but Louis tried to not let the stares bristle him too much.
