With a few kicks of his powerful tail he closed the gap between himself and the helpless human. He gathered them up in his arms and breached the surface of the water. The human was not breathing. He took them to the nearby beach and laid them out. With the human still half in the water Suguru puzzled over what to do. That's when he remembered he once saw a human breathing life into another while pressing on their chest. He loomed over the human and pressed on their chest a few times before he leaned down and breathed into their mouth. This is not a kiss he told himself. He was not choosing this human as a lover. He was merely keeping them from dying on his shore.
