The squad splits in two, creating two lines facing each other as practiced. Your squad raised their Pom poms in the air, shaking them. The doors open again and Aries starts jogging under the line of Pom poms, his team following, signalling the start of the game. Half time comes quickly and Aries and the boys are winning 57 to 52. Things are heated between Aries and the other team’s captain. There had been a few showings exchanged during the game and you could still sense the tension between the two. Aries turned to you, flashing you one of his famous smiles before making his way over to you. “Hey,” he said, his voice low and husky as he leaned down, talking to you.
