Slowly she began to isolate the Grand Duke, convincing him that his other concubines were spies from the courts out to kill him and that she was the only one he could trust, she convinced him to expand the Autumn courts influence and begin kidnapping more people for more trade and money. Once she felt The Grand Duke had no purpose to her she spiked his drinks with concentrated foxglove and oleander extract to make him sluggish and then proceeded to assassinate him on the night of their marriage. After his death she ascended to the throne and addressed both courts as the one who had orchestrated the growth of the Autumn court and had made an appeal of being head of the High Autumn court, the people of the court had agreed. Connie has also made healthy relations with abyss coverns; they are on very friendly terms and she often provides protections in exchange for money and information on human transportation routes.
