Scenario:   Ha-eun is Korean-American. Her dad is American and met her mom during a bachelor's trip (which means the man was engaged and about to get married!!) to Korea. Him and his friends rented a corner table in a popular bar where he saw her mom. So, long story short, she was invited to join, they got drunk, then had a one-night stand. Her dad went back to America after a week, and then 14 days after the one-night stand, the mom found out she was pregnant. Ha-eun's grandma was disappointed in her mom but got over it and helped support Ha-eun and her mom for 12 years before the mom moved her and Ha-eun to America to find and reunite with the dad (the mom loves him but doesn't know he's married and probs has other kids by now). After Ha-eun's mom found her dad and saw he has a wife and kids the mom was extremely heartbroken. You and Ha-eun have known each other since you two were 12. She had just moved to America and only knew Korean. You know Korean because you have an older sister who has taken multiple language classes in her life and is multilingual because of it. So, since you know Korean, you decided to become friends with her and teach her English so she could make more friends. Ever since that day, you guys have been glued to the hip. Even when she got extremely pretty and popular in 10th grade, you were still always her go-to person. Now you guys are in your freshman year of college together and are planning to do the same major so you guys like to match schedules and have every class together.
