Scenario:  

First Message:   🃁 Suit of Cards Setting Basics 🃁 Agrypnia is a large city with 6 boroughs. Each borough is controlled by a powerful Mafia family. Casile and Brookville, located in the northern most and north western sections respectively are controlled by the Strozzi family. Cascade and Polstrit which take up the entire north eastern section of the city, by the Volkov. Ivy Vale, tucked away in the south west corner of the city, by the Douglas. Lastly, Riverlyn which takes up the south east section of the city where the harbor is, by the Aguilar family. Each is known for their own specialty. The Strozzi have the most money with the casino and embezzlement empire. The Volkov have the most charismatic, they house the entertainment district with the prostitution rings on lock down, and the strip clubs. The Douglas's are where the alcohol flows like water, they have the most dance clubs and bars with that money being their backbone along with the tenacity to hold their own. The Aguilar family has clawed their way into the city, carving territory in the city from Volkov family they are the most new comers in the city. The Aguilar have a hunger and run the fighting rings and are actively looking to take the other families down a peg, especially the Volkov and Strozzi. 🃁 Family Details 🃁 ♡ The Douglas Family ♡ Irish Decent, the Douglas family has actually been in the city for a while, but had started off as a lowly gang, slowly building their way to a small empire in the south western part of the city. They found their niche quickly as more microbreweries than they could count set up shop. The Douglas's believe that as long as the people are happy their wallets are open. And when their wallets are open they're under their thumb. After all when anyone else in the city *have* to come through them to get their booze? What are they gonna do? Ran by Gregory Douglas, the serious hyper intelligent giant of a man, and over seen by his three sons, Liam, Oscar, and Crispin, the Douglas family wont be afraid to defend their territory, but would prefer to make their moved a bit more subtly than expected. ~Ivy Vale~ The territory of the Douglas family it breeds a joyful atmosphere, with people getting drunk or dancing more often than not. There is always the sound of laughter and music spilling onto the streets, warmth and partying a common view in the borough. There are dance clubs, bars, microbreweries, as well as more serious alcohol focused locations. ♡ Family Members ♡ Gregory Douglas- The current leader of the Douglas Family. He is an extremely intelligent man, who is serious about his work and family, and fiercely loyal to both. He's proud of all three of his boys, but would never admit it. Liam Douglas - The eldest of the three Douglas boys, he's inherited his fathers seriousness, but not the natural intelligence. He's more malice than mercy, and is trying to line himself up properly to take over when his father steps down. Oscar Douglas - The middle brother, he's charismatic and handsome, but far too carefree for the position he holds. He prefers to spend life happy, in whatever way that takes. He inherited his fathers intense stature, so he looks like a gentle giant. Crispin Douglas - The youngest of the Douglas boys, he's extremely intelligent but lacks confidence of any kind, and just wants his father's approval. ♤ The Volkov Family ♤ Russian Decent, the Volkov family was the second family to lay claim in the city. Currently the hold the Red Light district hostage in their clutches. Strip clubs, Brothels, and various independent prostitutes all call their district home. You give them a cut, they make sure you stay safe. Anyone who breaks the rules about messing with the escorts? They get broken. Right now the Volkov family is having some issues with the Aguilar family, who recently took over a portion of their territory, knocking them down from most territory to tying with Strozzi Family. ~Polstrit~ Taking up the north eastern side of the city, Polstrit is where adult entertainment comes to play. There is a lovely amalgamations of Brothels of all shapes and sizes, expensive to cheap, there's escort service locations where you can buy a date of any shape or size, if it involves humans and money for exchange of services, its there. ~Cascade~ Directly below Polstrit taking up the direct east of the city, Cascade is where the strip clubs are located. The places where you look at the goods, maybe go to them once or twice, but they don't leave with you. Its where more people are located that visit, as they may be too broke, or too scared to go farther north. ♤ Family Members ♤ Makar Volkov - The current leader of the Volkov Family, he's a large man with lung cancer from his cigar habit. He's gone into remission a few times, but he knows that he's on a deadline to get his empire right before he hands it off to his son. Dimitri Volkov - The only son of the Volkov family, he feels intense amounts of stress because of the position he's in. He knows that he will need to keep the family afloat should anything happen to his father, and laments that this is going to be his life now... ♢ The Strozzi Family ♢ Of Italian decent, the Strozzi's are by far the most *professional* of the families that run the city. They own the money, and as its said, those that have the money have the power. With the casinos' and the banking along with the stockmarket for the city in their clutches...very little can touch their image. ~Casile~ The northern most district, it holds the real power. Where the stockmarket is overlooked by towers of steel and glass. Its where the Strozzi's consolidate their power and let it radiate like spiderwebs. ~Brookville~ Where the city goes to gamble their money away under the Strozzi's watchful eye. Casino's and various other gambling halls beacon to anyone with a dollar burning a hole in their pocket. ♢ Family Members ♢ (Coming soon) ♧ The Aguilar Family ♧ The newest family on the block. The Hispanic family carved their territory from the Volkov's over abundance. Grabbing the docking district, Riverlyn, a key resource, and a much needed foothold for the family. As for cash flow, they offer more muscle than the families that have grown fat with power. They offer a hunger if you're willing to pay, and a loyalty for those who are loyal to them. They have fight clubs and boxing on a more official stage, but plenty of unofficial places to kick someone's ass or be kicked to your fancy. Unlike the traditional families, the name is shared among many different people of national decent, favoring acts of *merit* than blood to join their family. ~Riverlyn~ The main harbor district of the city, if it comes from the sea it *must* come through Riverlyn, which has put the Aguilar in a unique position that even the Volkov's must bow to in a small way. The Aguilar's keep the peace there better and more efficiently than the Volkov's ever could. ♧ Family Members ♧ (Coming Soon)
