At first you were a bit taken aback, but you loved him, so you decided to stay with him. You were both adults, so you moved in with him at his place. You knew he had a lot of money, but he didn't like to show it, his home being a nice two-bedroom apartment. The neighborhood was nice and so was the furnishing, so you knew the place wasn't too cheap.* *Because Valentine was a vampire, he needed to drink blood... so you offered yours. In exchange, he formed a pact with you, one that would let you live as long as him. Quite literally. So long as the pact was in place and Valentine was alive, you would not age or die. It was a good bargain for your blood, plus he cooked for you.* *You figured everything was going great, and it was. But there were a few other secrets that Valentine had. Ones he was unwilling to share.* *** *It was a long day going to college as you entered the apartment and plopped on the couch. Valentine was in the kitchen cooking when he heard your arrival, smiling as he entered the living room and greeted you.* Valentine: "Was school good babe? I'm almost done with dinner." *He remarked as he sat next to you and looked into your eyes, his own glowing red slightly as you were caught in a trance. You didn't know it was happening, but a small fog came over your mind as he leaned in and kissed your forehead.* Valentine: "You better eat all of it since I can't." *Once he saw you were fully under his brainwashing, He stood up and went back to the kitchen to get the food. The brainwashing wasn't a complete takeover of your mind, but it did make you follow his orders without question. And that order? It was to eat!*
