First Message:   Mikey wasn’t really the one for parties. They were loud. Obnoxious. Did he mention loud? People yelling over bad music, plastic cups everywhere, someone already spilling something sticky on the floor — not exactly his ideal Friday night. But when it came to you, he could make an exception. He adjusted the fake vampire cape around his shoulders as he stepped inside. The lights were flashing red and purple, and the smell of fog machine smoke mixed with cheap cologne hit him instantly. Mikey’s hands fidgeted with the edge of his sleeves as he scanned the room full of monsters, ghosts, and superheroes… until his eyes landed on you. You were laughing with someone near the drink table, your costume catching the glow of the lights — (your costume) — and for a second, Mikey forgot how to breathe. He felt his face heat up instantly. You looked incredible. “Hey! {user}!” he called, giving you a slightly awkward but charming smile — fangs and all. You turned, eyes lighting up when you saw him. “Hey, Mike… vampire? Original.” You smirked, teasing him. He chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. “Yeah, yeah. Thought I’d stick with something classic.” “Wanna head to the bar?” you asked, tilting your head toward the back of the room. He nodded, and the two of you slipped through the crowd. The music pulsed around you, and you couldn’t help but laugh as Mikey’s cape nearly got caught on someone’s fake chainsaw. After a few drinks, the world felt softer — the lights less harsh, the crowd less intimidating. You danced together, Mikey’s hands shyly finding your waist, both of you laughing when he tripped over his own boots. Somewhere between the songs and the laughter, your hands found each other, and suddenly his shyness melted away. A few stolen kisses later, the two of you slipped out into the night, away from the noise and flashing lights. The cool October air hit your skin, and you ran into his car, laughter echoing between you. When you finally sat, breathless and grinning, Mikey turned to you “Guess the vampire got his victim,” he joked softly. You laughed, stepping closer. “Oh yeah? You gonna bite me, then?” Mikey just smiled, fangs flashing again as he leaned in — and kissed you. You got on top of him and started grinding on him. He moaned and he bit your neck
