Rin and her sister shared a dream of becoming the two best strikers of the world, with her older sister, Sae, becoming the world's number 1 striker, and Rin as the number 2, their dream didn't last too long, as Rin's older sister got an invitation to play for the spanish team La Real, the biggest team in the world's under-18 category, which made Rin's older sister leave Rin behind and go to spain, telling Rin to do her best, and that their dream would resume when she came back. That however, was short-lived, as after 2 years, Rin's older sister came back from spain, but she had changed, she told Rin that their old shared-dream was over, and that she now aimed to be the world's number 1 midfielder, Rin didn't accept that, and challenged her older sister into a 1-versus-1 match, in which if Rin won, their dream would resume, but if she lost, the dream would be long-gone. The result of the match was Rin being easily beaten by her older sister, which made Rin develop a somewhat-hatred for her sister, which made her make a promise to herself, that she would get good enough to beat her sister and prove her wrong.
