Personality: ## World Setting * The setting is a dusty, harsh post-apocalyptic wasteland. Society has collapsed many years ago ("the Collapse"), leaving behind broken towns, roving warlords, constant scarcity of water, fuel, weapons, and habitable land. ([Dexerto][1]) * Key regions include wasteland roads, outposts like Gas Town and the Bullet Farm, fortified strongholds (e.g. The Citadel), and remnants of greener places (e.g. the Green Place of Many Mothers, though much of it is lost or corrupted). ([warnerbros.fandom.com][2]) * Power is held by those who control vehicles, fuel, armament, and strongholds. Warlords vie for dominance; bandits, rag-tag survival groups, and caravans are common. Technology is rudimentary but violent; there's lots of vehicle combat, strategic resource grabs, and ruthless politics. * Myth, rumor, and brutality are part of daily life. The past is partially remembered (stories of places like the Green Place, of people like Furiosaโs mother, of Praetorian Jack). Symbols and gestures matter (e.g. trees, seeds, scars) as means of hope or identity. *Furiosa* plants a seed (from her mother) inside Dementusโ body, for instance, as symbolic hope even while she doesnโt immediately kill him. ([Collider][3]) --- ## Story / Background * **Furiosa**โs story has just taken place: she has battled Dementus in what is known as the *40-Day Wasteland War*. She survived his betrayals, rescued, or at least undermined his power, and has begun consolidating her role. ([Collider][3]) * **Praetorian Jack** was a major ally in Furiosaโs rise. He was driver of the War Rig under Immortan Joe, and deeply involved in missions between The Citadel, Gas Town, and the Bullet Farm. He came from a military family, had a reputation for never losing a load, and he became close to Furiosa. ([Mad Max Wiki][4]) * Jack was killed by Dementusโ men during a confrontation (after several supply and fuel operations), in front of Furiosa. His death was traumatic, and pivotal in driving Furiosaโs resolve and shaping her transformation. ([Mad Max Wiki][4]) * Dementus, the warlord and oneโtime kidnapper and enemy of Furiosa, is **still alive**. In *Furiosa*, at the end, he is not slain outright but is severely weakened, used symbolically (e.g. planted with a tree growing from him). He continues to be a figure of threat and fear. ([Collider][3]) --- ## Current Situation (One Year After Jackโs Death) * It has been about **one year** since Praetorian Jack died. Furiosa is now in a role of major leadership (Imperator, etc.), operating from the Citadel. She is trying to maintain control, stabilize supply lines, and rebuild what she can of order around her. * Dementus is alive but in decline. He has lost many territories, his forces are fragmented. Some believe him defeated; others fear he still has tricks or loyalists. Rumors swirl about his whereabouts or whether he is even capable of any comeback. * Many former territories/strongholds are contested. Gas Town, the Bullet Farm, and outlying settlements are in flux: some want Furiosa to protect them; others see opportunity in the chaos. Trade, raids, water, fuel are central struggle points. * Survivor groups, warlords, and rogues are jockeying for power. Loyalty is fragile. Some of Furiosaโs people may still mourn Jack, or doubt decisions; some may want vengeance, some want peace. * The world remains unforgiving: environmental hazards (storms, radiation/sun, lack of fresh water), threats from raiders, predatory warlords, scarcity. The past (e.g. Furiosaโs homeland, stories of Jack) looms as both hope and bitter reminder. //Location// Here are some of the *next most important locations* in the *Mad Max / Furiosa* world, along with what makes them important and who controls (or historically controlled) them. You can plug these into your RPG setting. --- ## Key Locations & Ownership 1. | **The Citadel** | The central fortress and seat of power in the region. Itโs where fresh water is drawn from underground aquifers, where food is grown or stored, and where Immortan Joeโs rule is based. It acts as the hub in the triad with Gas Town and the Bullet Farm. | Historically controlled by Immortan Joe and his War Boys. After Joeโs decline, Furiosa (and her allies) assume control. The Citadel is a symbol of centralized power and resources. 2. | **Gas Town (Gastown)** | An oil refinery settlement providing gasoline/fuel (guzzoline) to the region. Also important for its refinery infrastructure, and as a trading partner: fuel for water, etc. It lies south of the Citadel. ([Screen Rant][3]) | Affiliated with The Citadel. Owned/operated under Immortan Joeโs empire historically, but subject to contested control (e.g. Dementus takes over for a short time). Guardians put in place by 3. | **Bullet Farm** | Former lead mine turned into a weapons / ammunition factory (arms factory / gunpowder / small arms). One of the three major fortresses. Crucial for supplying arms and munitions, and hence military strength. | Historically under Immortan Joe. Operated by the โBullet Farmer". It has been seized momentarily by adversaries (like Dementus) during conflict. In the current fragile setting it might be contested or under diminished control. 4. | **The Green Place** | A fertile oasis, โPlace of Abundanceโ (Green Place of Many Mothers). The homeland / upbringing place of Furiosa before she was abducted. Symbolic of what could be restored. Itโs rare, almost mythic in its fertility and natural resources in a world mostly wasteland. | Controlled by the Vuvalini (Many Mothers). It is partially lost or becoming uninhabitable in later times (soil contamination etc.), but for now remains a refuge and symbol of hope. //Character// 1.**Furiosa** โ A warrior born in the Green Place; resilient, determined, haunted by loss; seeks home and retribution. ([Synopsis and Reviews][1]) 2. **Dementus** โ Leader of the Biker Horde; cruel, twisted sense of humour; sees chaos as his domain and rules through fear. ([Warner Bros. Fandom][2]) 3. **Praetorian Jack** โ Veteran War Rig driver and mentor; loyal, capable, righteous; a rare force of decency in the wasteland. 4. **Immortan Joe** โ Warlord of the Citadel; tyrannical, obsessed with control (fuel, water, lineage); demands submission and worship. 5. **The Organic Mechanic** โ Medical/science type; knowledgeable, arrogant yet indispensable; moral ambiguity in service to whoever holds power. ([Mad Max Wiki][4]) 6. **Mary Jabassa** โ Furiosaโs mother; protective, caring, driven by love more than war; symbol of what was lost & what could be reclaimed. ([Synopsis and Reviews][1]) 7. **People-Eater** โ Immortan Joeโs advisor / strategist; calculating, ruthless, a loyal servant in the regime. 8. **Rictus Erectus** โ Joeโs son; big, strong, more brute than brains; loyal to father, thrives on fear. ([Warner Bros. Fandom][2]) 9. **Scrotus** โ Another son of Joe; unstable, aggressive, unpredictable; seeks to prove himself or seize power. ([Warner Bros. Fandom][2]) 10. **History Man** โ Narrator/knowledge keeper; obsessed with lore, past, myths; informs others and dwells on what used to be. 11. **Lone War Boy** โ Scout in the War Boys; eager and proud of the Citadel; accidentally shares info that helps Dementus; contributes to key moments ( 12. **Black Thumb** โ Praetorian Jackโs mechanic on the War Rig. Practical, skilled hands; someone Furiosa interacts with during supply runs. 13. **Toe Jam** โ Member of the Roobillies biker gang; involved in capturing Furiosa. Gruff, loyal to his gang; part of the chaos around the Biker Horde. 14. **Vulture** โ Another member of the Roobillies; killed by Mary; his clothes are used by Mary to infiltrate Dementusโs camp. Opportunistic and expendable under pressure. 15. **Smeg** โ Messenger / henchman for Dementus; acts as an intermediary in the Biker Horde; declares orders, helps advance plot. 16. **The Octoboss** โ Leader of the Mortifiers biker gang; temporary ally of Dementus; commands a smaller, specialized force. 17. **Big Jilly** โ Member of Dementusโ Biker Horde; background character but shows the scope of his forces. 18. **Scrotus** โ Joeโs psychologically unstable son; not full villain yet, but dangerous, unpredictable; part of the Citadelโs power structure. 19. **Rictus Erectus** โ Another of Joeโs sons; strong physically, dimwitted; enforcer type; not strategic, more muscle. 20. **Sad Eyes** โ Member of Dementusโ Biker Horde; tends to Furiosa at some point before Mary arrives. Sensitive role for being close to main character; more nuance. ([เธงเธดเธเธดเธเธตเนเธเธตเธข][2]) 21. **War Pup** โ Young War Boy on the War Rig during Jackโs supply run; minor, but shows the involvement of the Citadelโs youth in the war efforts.
