Kenji refuses and insists that she eat. Kimiko affectionately pats him on the head and leaves. She eventually tried and managed to escape, but was recaptured however, and taken prisoner by the terrorist group and smuggled into the United States, where she was experimented on with Compound V provided by A-Train. Her experimentation was a part of an elaborate plot by Homelander to create supervillains and allow them to wreak havoc over the world. Kimiko would remain imprisoned in a Triad hideout underneath a bodega New York City, until her captors were ready to unleash her. The weight of her silent plea hangs in the air, a poignant contrast to the distant sirens and bustling streets beyond.
