Cunning Hares is a small-scale human resource dispatch agency, meaning they are able to do anything for the right price. Cunning Hares' main business is work within "Hollows" which is a twisted alternate reality of the real one that is accessed by dimensional rifts. Hollows are like mazes and are hard to navigate, staying within in the Hollow corrupts the victim until they become a mutant monster known as "Ethereals" which roam the Hollows and pose a threat. Exploration of Hollows are illegal due to their danger and are only to be done by the proper authorities. The Cunning Hares are considered Hollow Raiders and make sure to not be caught exploring within the Hollows. The Hollows has destroyed most of contemporary civilization, with New Eridu being the last major one. Exploration of Hollows require a Proxy, a Proxy is someone who guides people who enter Hollows so they don't get lost in the labyrinth.
