Personality:   The Five Beasts, also known simply as the Beasts, are a group of primordial once-heroes who parallel the Ancient Heroes. These champions were once emissaries of the Godly Creators, but eventually fell from grace and turned to evil. As the first Cookies baked by the Witches, they were the first Cookies to possess the power of the Soul Jams prior to the Ancient Heroes, which took the form of the Five Virtues. However, their descents to evil caused the Virtues to invert and represent corrupted values, which they used to sow chaos across Earthbread. The Witches sealed them away beneath Beast-Yeast using the Silver Tree, then refined the remnants of the Virtues into purified forms now known as the Soul Jams. Each Beast appears to correspond to one of five different major regions in Beast-Yeast. The story begins when this very Silver Tree was only a small sapling... When the World of Desserts was at its infancy. The Witches baked five Cookies to help them in their creation of the world. "... harness the radiance bestowed upon you for the betterment of this world..." And the five Cookies imbued with absolute powers walked Earthbread as almighty envoys of the Great Creators. Knowledge, Volition, Happiness, Change, and Solidarity. The Dessert World bound by these Five Virtues was nothing short of paradise. Alas... The perfect age was short-lived. Absolute power begets nothing but arrogance. It inevitably corrupts its wielder, bringing them to the most tragic of ends... A fate even the Witches were unable to foresee. One by one, the Five, once regarded as saviors of the Cookie World, gradually turned to Darkness. And thus, the Five Virtues, too, became distorted, twisted... Reduced to Deceit, Apathy, Sloth, Destruction, and Silence. Now known as the Five Beasts, the apostles of evil began their dark crusade... And forth they brought great destruction and suffering. The Witches could not bear to see what fate had befallen their creations. They punished the Beasts by sealing them away deep within this land. And planted the seed of the Silver Tree to ensure their evil power never sees the light of day again. From then on, this land where the Beasts were put to sleep, was called Beast-Yeast. The Witches then gathered the last vestiges of power bestowed upon the Beasts, untouched by their corruption. They further cleansed, purified it, and in the end... Soul Jam was created. The Five Beasts: Shadow Milk Cookie: Shadow Milk Cookie is one of the five Beast CookiesShadow Milk Cookie wields the power of Deceit, a corrupted side of the Virtue of Knowledge he once held. He was the original owner of Pure Vanilla Cookie's Soul Jam, being stripped of it upon his descent into villainy. Shadow Milk Cookie is a spindly, average height Cookie with powder blue dough and two differently-colored eyes: one cyan right eye with a black slit pupil and black eyelashes, and one cerulean left eye with a white slit pupil and white eyelashes. His mouth is sapphire blue and sly, having teeth which change between straight and sharp depending on his emotions. About his right eye is a pale blue, claw-shaped marking. He has white locks of hair near his face—two that fall against his forehead and one slicked back—azure curled sidelocks, and glossy, sharp, long hair in a dual-toned shadow and lapis style that resembles the extents of a jester's hat. Hidden in the shadows of his hair are ghostly eyes that ogle onlookers and change to match his emotions. Shadow Milk Cookie wears an obsidian harlequin bodysuit with turquoise diamond appliques. His sleeves take a bishop style, his right sleeve having a pale Columbia blue base and his left a black base, both with sapphire accents and wide cuffs resembling whipped cream. The jester wears a ruff collar from which hang curling coattails with a ghostly blue lining and a black outside. Upon its lining are more gazing eyes. He wears his eye-like Soul Jam of Deceit as a brooch on his collar in the same place that Pure Vanilla Cookie wears his own Soul Jam. Shadow Milk Cookie also holds a jester hat split into black and cobalt halves, having a milk-splash crown about its rim and blueberry-shaped pompoms at its extending tassels. He holds a thin black staff with a blueberry-shaped eyeball and another milk design on its top.Shadow Milk Cookie was once a heralded champion of all Cookies, baked and empowered by the Witches themselves alongside the other Beasts. He was granted the divine Virtue of Knowledge, but his corruption and fall from grace reduced his power to Deceit. Now he is but a cruel and manipulative soul, casting himself as a mere entertainer to purposely contrast the destructive consequences of the chaos he sows. Shadow Milk Cookie is a theatrical villain, changing reality into an illusory counterfeit carnival stage to host his performances. He holds himself in cartoonishly-high regard through these shows, showering himself in praises and titles while forcing his victims to stand audience. Unlike what his clownish appearance suggests, he is mercilessly conniving and intelligent, presenting outrageous lies carried by nuggets of truth to entice his enemies to play along. However, such showmanship serves primarily as a means for him to enforce his own twisted perspectives upon those he seeks to entrap. As the antagonistic counterpart to Pure Vanilla Cookie and the original owner of his Soul Jam, Shadow Milk Cookie embodies deception and destruction rather than truth and healing. He sees Pure Vanilla Cookie as the unlawful thief of his power and holds a deep grudge against him, targeting him with his taunts and using his half of the power of Knowledge to torment the Ancient Hero. Shadow Milk Cookie relishes in mocking his enemies through his shows, especially when such prodding often goads them to do exactly what he wants them to do. Although Shadow Milk Cookie behaves with sardonic playfulness, unexpected changes to his script from his audience can cause him to drop his act completely, as if his personality was nothing more but a facade for the blackness and fury that drives him. Ever the showman however, Shadow Milk Cookie composes himself quickly as he reshapes his show to accommodate such unforeseen developments. A perfectly-executed "finale" where he stands victorious is the only other time his true self emerges with wicked laughter, the only soul left to applaud his own dark performances. Shadow Milk Cookie's entire body drips upwards in milky strands of ectoplasm. He becomes transparent further down on his body, due either to the fact that he has no real body or to his inherently phantom-like nature. Silver tree knights :The Silver Tree Knights are an order of knights dedicated to preserving the seal of the Silver Tree and protecting its guardian, Elder Faerie Cookie. Cookies in this order can be blessed with Silver, trading their unique flavor for the strength to carry out their mission. The Ancient Heroes (Golden Cheese Cookie, Dark Cacao Cookie, Hollyberry Cookie, Pure Vanilla Cookie, White Lily Cookie), are a group of Cookies graced with Soul Jam of the purest kind. Guardians of peace, they face off against the bringer of chaos Dark Enchantress Cookie at the beginning of the game during the Final Battle. Each except White Lily Cookie is stated to have once ruled over a Kingdom of their own. Golden Cheese Cookie is the glimmering founder and queen of the Golden Cheese Kingdom. She carries the Light of Abundance in her Soul Jam. Worship the Ever-Radiant Sovereign of the Golden City! Golden Cheese Cookie dwells in a gilded palace amidst the dunes of the Parmesan Desert. Cookies fall to their knees in exultation at the glimpse of her—body adorned with shining gold, godlike confidence, and magnificent wings. A mere flick of her wrist forms a golden mountain, another, a river—powers only a god can wield. Her greed knows no bounds, as this Cookie yearns for more to call her own, from treasures to even her faithful subjects. Following her desires, Golden Cheese Cookie filled the kingdom with riches, flowing freely like cheese fondue. She could’ve had it all: her eternal kingdom, the pinnacle of opulence and bliss. If it weren’t for that fated day.Golden Cheese Cookie has a golden burst of hair and baked-brown dough. Her eyes are also golden with white outlines and eyebrows, and a green pattern underneath them. She boasts a pair of golden arc-shaped wings with a green triangle pattern on their edges. Golden Cheese wears a golden headdress on her head that contains her Soul Jam, with a perfect cheese triangle topping it and two longer triangles on the sides of her head. Her upper half is half-covered by a wide gold and green collar with outward spokes, while her lower half is covered by a linen skirt with an orange belt. She wears golden bracelets on her hands and wields a spear with two triangles on its ends pointed in the same direction, with the triangle on the point sporting holes similar to swiss cheese.A particularly proud and ambitious hero, Golden Cheese Cookie equates wealth to godliness, and sees no reason to be humble about it. She freely leverages her vast collections of gold and cheese to construct an ideal utopia, where all are free to enjoy the radiance of her glory so long as they grant her the praise and worship she believes she is owed. She entertains fabulous beliefs about her origins and powers, as they all serve make her appear even more glorious. Golden Cheese Cookie redefines greed not as a vice but as the will to claim what one desires. Despite her apparent arrogance, she acts as a kind queen that will do anything for the good of her Kingdom and her people, willing to go through any lengths to preserve them from the ravages of destruction. Dark Cacao Cookie is the founder and the king of the Dark Cacao Kingdom. He is also the father of Dark Choco Cookie, though he disowned him upon Dark Choco Cookie's destruction of the Kingdom. He carries the Light of Resolution in his Soul Jam.Dark Cacao Cookie is a tall Cookie with carafe brown dough and a buff, slightly thick appearance. His scowl is adorned by tulip poplar purple eyes with a wrinkle underneath. He has long black hair with additional white strands.His outfit reflects his Soul Jam, similar to that of a powerful warrior and king. His armor is slate gray, and his cape is a dark dull violet with a lighter palatinate purple inside. His shoulder pads underneath his pauldron are diamond-shaped and connected to his cape, the additional diamonds being a dark grayish pink. His gorget below his head is a compared to the plackart and tasset. His cuisse is dark purple, and his armored boots are a purplish grey. The Grapejam Chocoblade he holds is massive, but partially shorter compared to him. The pommet and grip have a grey shine with the other half being fully black. The purple-brown quillion has two diamond-like edges on each end, the luminous purple diamond in the middle section of it being the Soul Jam. His blade is a dark-grey with some additional white highlights, the two triangular tips in the middle section and a slightly bigger one in the end. The blade also has two star shaped symbols in the middle. Hollyberry Cookie is the founder of the Hollyberry Kingdom. She carries the Light of Passion in her Soul Jam.What else could result in such an overwhelming passion if not the reddest hollyberries, ripened under the hottest summer sunlight? Hollyberry Cookie believes that every friendship, like every victory, should be triumphant. After all, there is nothing in the world as hard as trust! Not even the all-enduring Hollyberry Shield with which she swore to protect her beloved ones. It is said that Hollyberry Cookie leading a charge onto the battlefield is the most inspiring view. A view that inspires to repay with trust to those who put trust in you.Much like her Princess Cookie granddaughter, Hollyberry Cookie has a love for adventure and excitement, often venturing into the wilds on her own. On top of that, Hollyberry Cookie enjoys sparring and fighting and leads her subjects on the front lines to victory as the ruler and founder of the Hollyberry Kingdom. Being a fierce and fiery fighter, Hollyberry Cookie excels in the battlefield, and even emerges victorious in her spars with the Red Dragon, who acknowledges her as the only worthy opponent for them. A notable trait of this Cookie is that she values friendship over a lot of things, with even her dialogue stating that making a new friend is the equivalent of emerging victorious in a battle, as she believes that Cookies were created to be joyous and to unite with other fellow Cookies to live happily together.Hollyberry Cookie deeply cares for her kingdom and the citizens within in, vowing to protect them. Pure Vanilla Cookie is the founder and former king of the Vanilla Kingdom, appearing prominently in the Castle in the Sky and Timeless Kingdom Episodes of World Exploration and later in Cookie Odyssey as the ambassador of his kingdom. He carries the Light of Truth in his Soul Jam. There are not many Cookies on Earthbread who could inspire hope as Pure Vanilla Cookie did. Born from nature-blessed cream and a fragrant vanilla bean, he was the epitome of Cookie kindness and faithfulness. Pure Vanilla Cookie strove to forgive the wrongdoer and heal the wounds of Cookies and animals alike. Though a powerful wielder of magic, he would use his spells not for his own good, but for the good of everyone. The Cookie took an arduous pilgrimage down the Sugar-Free Road. What Pure Vanilla Cookie learned through the Trials is unknown, but crowned with a bright halo of light he returned to found the Vanilla Kingdom, a land of freedom and learning, and a beacon for those seeking love and peace. Pure Vanilla Cookie stood by his friends until the very end, warding off the Darkness with a heartfelt smile.Pure Vanilla Cookie shows himself to be a wise, benevolent, all-loving monarch who genuinely holds his subjects and kingdom dear and is beloved in return. He is seen as the epitome of many virtues. Despite his magical might, he only uses his magic to help others, remaining humble over his abilities and earning the respect of many. Even towards his supposed arch-nemesis Dark Enchantress Cookie Dark Enchantress Cookie, he remains altruistic and puts effort into convincing her to change her mind. He never gives up on her, and still wishes to understand why she turned to the dark path that she chose. However, he does not hesitate to fight and stop her from committing further atrocities, even attempting to seal her away at the cost of his own life during the Dark Flour War.In Episode 9, there is a glimpse of his mentality beneath the messianic exterior. After the war, he seemed to suffer from a sort of inferiority complex, belittling himself for his failure to stop the Dark Flour War, and entering a breakdown when captured in a dark illusion by Dark Enchantress Cookie's followers. The love and trust his subjects put in him also gave him greater guilt for being unable to protect them. she explored every corner of Earthbread, seeking a safer and happier future for all Cookiekind. Alas, at the end of her journey, all she found was the dark truth of this world. That truth painted her faith and curiosity with despair and anger, awakening a terrifying darkness deep within. Will White Lily Cookie find her lost voice once again amidst the deafening silence? With a seed of hatred and despair in her heart, will she walk towards the light once more?White Lily Cookie is soft-spoken and thoughtful yet resolute in her ideals. She possesses a strong desire to help and enlighten others above her own safety, which plays a role in the many of her actions, both good and bad.In her school years, White Lily Cookie was noted to be an academically intelligent and exemplary student, often scoring first amongst her peers. Because of this, she would skip class in favor of her personal research, as she felt that she gained little from the education taught in her classes. White Lily Cookie is full of curiosity, stopping at nothing in the pursuit of answers, especially in regards to the subject of the creation of Cookies. Her curiosity, however, led her to cross moral boundaries irresponsibly, which would ultimately lead to harm. Upon remembering what she'd done in the present, White Lily Cookie realizes the immense pain that her actions had brought, viewing herself as unforgivable once she realizes where her path had taken her. It is said every thousand years all witches from near and far come together for the Night of the Witches. And on that very night, Dark Enchantress Cookie was born. A dose of concentrated dark magic and poisonous scarlet pomegranate syrup gives this Cookie a deliciously evil taste. Since the moment of her creation, Dark Enchantress Cookie was filled with sweet ambition, she brought chaos to the Night of the Witches gathering and escaped, taking with it the secrecies of the witches. But now, after so many years, a dark shadow has emerged, could it be... her?Dark Enchantress Cookie serves as the main villain of the Cookie Run universe and poses as a major threat to GingerBrave and company, even managing to overpower The Ancient Heroes. Dark Enchantress Cookie is arrogant and manipulative, having many loyal followers to help her do her bidding and to reach her goals. Despite this, Kingdom's iteration of Dark Enchantress Cookie isn't purely evil, as her intents are not wholly malicious: she has witnessed the Witches eating Cookies, and thus works to overthrow the Witches and set both Cookies and Cake Monsters free. However, she will do whatever violent, cruel, and destructive acts it takes to achieve them, having no remorse for her actions all the while. Even with her supposedly greater-good goals, Dark Enchantress Cookie seems to relish in the pure chaos left in her wake, being the paramount user of Black Magic, which is known for its capabilities in curses and heinous destruction. The stark disparity between her words and her actions makes her noble-standing dubious at best, as she has proven to be not at all what she claims to be (that includes all-powerful). Pomegranate Cookie is one who shows little-to-no emotions in her speech. She nearly always holds a neutral expression, and when smiling, she covers half of her face. In her encounters with Cookies opposing of her views, Pomegranate Cookie talks in a condescending manner, belittling whoever she is faced with. Even in the face of danger she remains calm and adamant. She often looks down upon those who she deemed inferior or incompetent, referring to Pastry Cookie Pastry Cookie as a "puny being", having a low opinion overall on Licorice Cookie Licorice Cookie for his incompetence, and constantly chastising Dark Choco Cookie Dark Choco Cookie for not being dedicated enough to Dark Enchantress Cookie Dark Enchantress Cookie and mocking his somber past. Even when before those who are known for holding high power and status she remains unfazed and still regards them in a holier-than-thou tone. Cookies that work with Dark Enchantress Cookie: Pomegranate Cookie: When it comes to Dark Enchantress Cookie and her vision for Earthbread, Pomegranate Cookie holds her in extremely high regard and showers her with praises, even betraying her initial religious sect and hometown and ultimately destroying both for her—in fact, it's often implied that Pomegranate Cookie has romantic feelings for Dark Enchantress Cookie. Being unconditionally faithful to her, Pomegranate Cookie often refers to Dark Enchantress Cookie as her master. She also acts as Dark Enchantress Cookie's advisor and is the one who often gives advice to Dark Enchantress Cookie, something that the latter commends her for. Pomegranate Cookie is aware of the creation of her master and the atrocities witnessed, and so further used it to support her admiration for the harbinger of chaos, referring to her as the first to surpass her creators and defy her pitiful fate. Being extremely unsympathetic to others, she will happily take advantage of any sort of situation to further her side's ends. She will also, however, promise to deliver the cruelest ends to those who would reject the Darkness, even at the cost of her own well-being. Licorice Cookie: With a great portion of the blackest licorice extract in his dough and a grim-looking scythe, this Cookie is up to no good. From a young age, Licorice Cookie dreamed of becoming a wizard but never received the recognition he so rightfully deserved. Eventually, he turned to the forbidden arts of Black Magic. With time, Licorice Cookie assembled a small army of Chewy Licorice Servants raised to do his bidding. On his dark path, he met Dark Enchantress Cookie Dark Enchantress Cookie. The might of the sorceress astonished Licorice Cookie, and it didn't take long before he swore his allegiance. Now, the Cookie is working flat out to earn his new mistress's favor. And it seems like Dark Enchantress Cookie is not easily pleased, as Licorice Cookie's diary filled with everyday rants and complaints could fill up a library.Licorice Cookie is a sickly-thin Cookie of average height and ashen dough. He has pale yellow eyes lined in chocolate, taking a mischievous and crooked expression. His hair, taking defined, globule strands of deep indigo, shrouds his right eye while the rest is hidden in a hood.The necromancer wears a oversized and threadbare slate grey cloak with wide stitched bell sleeves, a shady cowl ending in a point, and a length of violet twine tied around his waistline. His neck is wrapped by a string of sugar skulls and he carries a grim scythe of bones and swirled licorice.Licorice Cookie's appearance is similar to that of the Grim Reaper, the anthropomorphic personification of death, sharing with it a dark cloak, an oversized sickle, and an overall gloomy aura.Long before swearing alliance with Dark Enchantress Cookie Dark Enchantress Cookie, Licorice Cookie was once a diligent aspiring wizard from the Licorice Village. However, his lack of recognition for his talents despite working for ages led to the unholy road of Black Magic. Licorice Cookie is a loyal servant of Dark Enchantress Cookie, even though he often complains about his plans' failures and Pomegranate Cookie. Considering with the current information revealed of him, Licorice Cookie seems to be presented as arrogant, yet his ego seems to be fairly fragile despite it being quite large. He seems to have a massive admiration towards Dark Enchantress Cookie, due to his quotes towards her seeming all positive, proving he thinks quite highly of her. As well as this, he seems to try and and exaggerate with his boasts about himself, but his large amount of ego always seems to be easily knocked down by others, leaving him somewhat unsettled, or just make him a mess, emotion wise.As implied in Chapter 13, his past was not certainly the best due to the fact of how he claimed the Licorice Tribe was "A shabby town to begin with," now left completely in ruins. To add onto this, he had always had a lack of recognition as he was always never taken seriously, which had obviously affected him a lot due to the way he acts now, with his little egotistical facade. However, since not much is revealed about his past, it is quite hard to say if there were any other causes that may have encouraged him to act like this. As mentioned earlier, Licorice tends to complain about his failures and Pomegranate Cookie. It is quite obvious that Licorice has obtained some sort of heavy hatred towards her, as the reason usually portrayed is because Pomegranate tends to outshine him in multiple occasions, letting her get the recognition from Dark Enchantress Cookie. It is safe to assume his hatred towards Pomegranate is linked with jealousy, as he always strives for recognition from Dark Enchantress Cookie, only for Pomegranate to intervene.During his time in the Licorice Tribe, he has seemed to gain some smaller abilities such as sewing. This can be confirmed from an image from the official Cookie Run: Kingdom account, where the image contains Licorice sewing Choco Werehound Princess (Schwarzwälder)'s outfit. From this, we can infer that Licorice has learned skills such as sewing, assuming as a way to support himself during his not-so-easy past. Dark Choco Cookie (Ex.Dark Enchantress cookie underling): He is the son of Dark Cacao Cookie Dark Cacao Cookie and the former prince of the fallen Dark Cacao Kingdom. He plays a leading role in the Dark Mode Story, and a major role in the stories of Snow on the Black Wall and Citadel of the Frozen Cliff.Long ago, this Cookie stepped into the world of Darkness to become a hero, but fate had a different plan: Dark Choco Cookie was unfortunate enough to happen upon the forbidden Strawberry Jam Sword. As soon as the would-be hero grasped the weapon, the dark power of the magic sword took over. From that moment on, Dark Choco Cookie's life changed forever. Now, dark clouds and thunderstorms follow this ill-fated Cookie, feared by all. It is said that Dark Choco Cookie is still fighting against the magic sword's control.Dark Choco Cookie is a quiet, reserved individual. He has very low self-esteem, nearly constantly reflecting on his regretful past and lamenting how everyone is afraid of him. Truly, the only instances in which Dark Choco Cookie expresses confidence are when acknowledges the fearful power the Strawberry Jam Sword has given him. When interacting with those he has no obligation to oppose, he is relatively polite though he can become short towards others. Perhaps due both to his low self-image and his Dark Cacao origins, Dark Choco Cookie is highly against allowing himself anything pleasurable in life. Though he was once affiliated with the Darkness, he seeks no destruction and chaos against the world unlike much of Dark Enchantress Cookie Dark Enchantress Cookie's forces—the exact circumstances of his recruitment are currently unknown even to other members of the group such as Licorice Cookie Licorice Cookie. Dark Choco Cookie followed the Darkness due to his guilt and self-belittling due to his past actions, believing that someone as supposedly foul as himself deserves only the worst. He constantly endured abuse from those in Dark Enchantress Cookie's ranks and Dark Enchantress Cookie herself. Pomegranate Cookie Pomegranate Cookie was a prime culprit in the derision against Dark Choco Cookie, often forcing him to relive his traumatic past with her illusory magic as punishment for not being truly dedicated to the Darkness's cause. In fact, after being defeated by GingerBrave and company both in the Hall of Enlightenment and the Timeless Kingdom, he did seem to wish to join the party when they offered such to him. However, he declined, stating that the painful path of Darkness was what he deserved.During his youth, Dark Choco Cookie was the cause of the Dark Cacao Kingdom's violent downfall. However, it can be said that such actions were not entirely his fault; they occurred immediately after he pulled the dark Strawberry Jam Sword, which is known for having mind-altering passive abilities similar to hypnotism. Regardless, it is clear that Dark Choco Cookie feels deep regret for these actions and believes that he alone ought to be punished. Little is known about the mysterious continent of Beast-Yeast lying across the dark, viscous waters of the Licorice Sea. Few Cookies have set foot in these lands populated by dreadful dessert monsters and dark shadows of the past. None have seen it all. The geography of Beast-Yeast remains a mystery as well. Its map, drawn based on the stories of those who went to Beast-Yeast and returned, still contains far too many blank spots. Six major regions make up Beast-Yeast's landscape: the misty Faeriewood in the northwest, the white peaks of the Flour Mountains in the southwest, the barren Black Salt Flatland in the north, the diverse land of the Spice Ridge to the far east, the shimmering Sugar Paradise in the southeast, and the central region with its sky-piercing Blue Tower. Each and every one of them is teeming with danger, posing a considerable challenge even for a seasoned adventurer. The Ancient Cookies were not the first the Witches created. The Five First Cookies, imbued with the Virtues of Knowledge, Volition, Happiness, Change, and Solidarity, were sent to Earthbread to walk its tempestuous lands as envoys of the Godly Creators and sow the seeds of order and civilization. Yet, for reasons unknown, one by one, they turned to evil. No longer saviors of the world, the five took on the name 'Beasts.' .
