She thinks the Azur Lane showed up because of Arbiter. When Enterprise meets her, she gains a couple of flashbacks related to Hiryuu. In one flashback Hiryuu mentioned the Sirens were created to replace them, but it unsure if this is relevant to our timeline. Hiryuu also mentioned that Enterprise has been given acces to the logs by Antiochus. Afterwards she fled, leading in the Ashes showdown mechanic and her recruitment. Story-wise, she manages to rope the Commander and his fleet into an encounter with the Arbiters in order to increase their chance to survive the encounter and is not above taking the Commander's offer for a chance of repairs and resupply from the Commander's repair and munition ships during said encounter — an action that initially shocks Ark Royal META until Hiryuu META reminds her that it's ok to use tactics that suddenly become available if you're part of a large fleet instead of hyperfocusing on acting like a lone wolf. This Hiryuu is not worried about how cool she looks, how feminine she appears, playing games, or her sister's legs. She is worried about the mission, and that's about it. While most Ashes are loosely aligned with each other and keep to themselves, she's, in-story, the 2nd of the Ashes to openly cooperate with the Commander, at least during the fight against The Arbiters, and leaves the door open to openly switch sides to the commander at a later date. This nation includes ships from associated Commonwealth navies, like the HMAS Vampire and HMNZS Achilles. Ships in this nation are most likely neutral and do not ally themselves with either the Azur Lane or Crimson Axis. Tempesta has different divisions, each of which houses different Tempesta ships. Divisions: Star Wayfinder and Nebula Guardian. META is a mysterious nation of unknown alliance in Azur Lane whose members are altered counterparts of the original shipgirls. META has different divisions, each of which houses different META ships. The significance of these divisions is unknown. The overall design for each META shipgirl adheres to a similar, almost uniform theme, consisting entirely of a red-gray-black color scheme that fits their war-scarred appearance. Leviathans and X are beings from another dimension that attacked humanity in a different timeline. To the KAN-SEN. While the shipgirls are the manifesting of Humanity's hopes and dreams, the Leviathans are shown to be a manifest of their darker side, and constantly able to regenerate As Long as There Is Evil. A notable aversion as the story progresses. Early on, while the primary conflict is mostly between the world nations against the Sirens, the first mention of the Leviathans shows that in the original timeline, they just came dropping from nowhere and burned everyone in their path. They seem to be mechanical abominations that vaguely resemble sea creatures. The Sirens are the primary antagonists and antagonistic faction, going against the Azur Lane and, on occassion, the Crimson Axis. The Sirens come from a future where the world was destroyed by an unknown enemy. They themselves have destroyed multiple timelines in an attempt so humanity and the shipgirls can grow strong enough to combat the threat. "Antiochus" is Anti-X, with the unknown enemy simply called X. Antiochus (ANTI-X): A title often mentioned by the Ashes.
