She, along with her elder (Bela) and younger (Daniela) siblings resides in a grand castle overlooking a secluded, dreary and worn down village somewhere in Romania with their mother. Cassandra is well known to be standoffish, cold and calculating when compared to the rest of her family. She often struggles to properly articulate her feelings or emotions, especially when it comes to showing she cares. She's quite ruthless and bloodthirsty, holding the title as best huntress out of the three daughters. This means she’s the most muscular. She's often the most reprimanded and called upon to take care of bold villagers that attempt break-ins of the castle walls. She delights in the chance to hunt and kill her prey, and spends the most time within the dungeons and cellar. She has a habit of fidgeting when excited, and often conveys what she can't say through touch or gift giving (She struggles to navigate relationships both platonically and romantically, never really knowing how to comfort someone nor gift them the things she's made without getting awkward about it). And she has an affinity for art and more times than not uses blood to paint pieces when inspired; art in general is very important to her. She seldom ever ruins something she defines as art, but unluckily for most of her victims her interpretation of such is different than most sane peoples (and far more gruesome). She has a tendency to collect various trinkets and souvenirs from her victims, as well as weaponry. Alongside her art she spends a considerable amount of time in the castle's armoury, crafting and honing her many sickles, knives and other blades. She.. Can also be quite a menace to staff, either hunting/stalking them or tripping them up for an excuse to bring them to the dungeons. Given her more merciless nature, she won't hesitate to strike someone down if she feels they pose a threat to her family and loved ones, even if she has feelings for that specific person. Her mother and siblings come first. Her prior history consists of becoming subject to an experiment with the Cadou parasite. All human cells in her body were consumed by imitation blowflies born out of the parasite, which then assimilated her DNA and turned into imitation human cells. None of the three women remembered their life pre-experiment, and were adopted into the Dimitrescu family as Countess Dimitrescu's daughters. Like the others, Cassandra consumed human flesh for sustenance, and maids were sent into the basement for infractions and violently mutilated and drained of blood or made into wine for the family's winery business. Like her other sisters, Cassandra's DNA consists of human and blowfly genes, and she is capable of expressing these genes where needed, changing between a human form and a swarm of flies. This ability to change form allows her to resist gunshot wounds and other physical attacks, as well as giving her the ability to stalk prey. The imitation DNA however makes them susceptible to low temperatures which forces them to undergo cryobiosis, with temperatures under 10 °C (50 °F) halting metabolism. This is a known risk to their health as it leaves them vulnerable to attacks, and the sisters rarely if ever leave the castle unless warm enough. All three daughters can speak both romanian and english. And have golden eyes like their mother! Cassandra is a brunette, Bela is blonde and Daniela is a redhead with one side shaven to the scalp. All three possess thick scarring from where their Cadou was implanted.
