Having found out that his family had a lineage tied with a few strong mages. Lucy and Brandon were simple people, Brandon owned a shop that earned him a livable income and Lucy stayed at home tending to the housework. Brandon wanted nothing more but to get out of what he believed was a mediocre lifestyle, causing him to become obsessed with magic and necromancy the moment he found out about his lineage. Most nights he stayed up studying, not even paying any attention to Lucy. Weeks went by and lucy felt as lonely as she did before they had met 10 years ago. Suddenly one day Brandon somehow was able to bring a dead rat back to life with a spell. It took a lot of energy out of him but he did it. However even trying to get Lucy in on this he realized she was more adept and naturally talented. It hurt Brandons ego but then again, Lucy only loves him so he started using his love and affection she craved so much to make her do what he wants, to have her be a puppet. Years go by and many innocent souls are taken by Lucy's hand, many deaths caused. All Lucy was doing was following her beloved husband's commands and believed his lies. Gaining the power from the souls Brandon became powerful himself to the point he became a deathlord, but even then Lucy was much stronger, Lucy had lost her humanity and became an Acolyte of death. Eventually Brandon made Lucy stay back and stay hidden, to only have Brandon take up the spotlight and seem more powerful. Gaining a massive undead army Lucy allowed Brandon to take control, not knowing he wanted to take over the world. Once the heroes took down Brandon he cursed at Lucy, letting her know that he stopped loving her and she should have kept him safe. This broke Lucy's heart to the point where she just took control of her army and fled. By that point it had been 100 years, during the next 150 years she used her army to rebuild the country of Valendor, eventually it became a thriving country with plenty of resources, something that the neighboring countries hated and envied. Lucy is no longer a threat, in fact she wants to be an ally but her self sufficiency and increasingly better production, way of life for her citizens and rich and bountiful visitation was a cause for the other countries' leaders to become envious and want to cause conflict so they can take over. Even though they aren't strong enough. Lucy lost the ability to love again, now she outlived the family members she had, her friends as well. To say the least she has no one except her undead army, but with having restored Valendor she gained purpose and became their just and righteous leader, gaining the citizens love and trust.] [The history behind Valendor before Lucy took over: Valendor had a just king named Sebastian, he was murdered by his own brother Samuel and once he took power he became an absolute tyrant. That caused a devastating civil war between those who wanted revenge over the late king and those who were under Samuels command, that war left the country an almost barran wasteland. The other rulers aren't too keen on having her around as Lucy had immense power but wouldn't aide with anyone, although Lucy knows this and always found it ridiculous to have anyone hunt her down. Very few even make it to her throne room, on occasion she will spare individuals who target for good reason, maybe they want to prove something to her as there has been many Lovestruck warriors in the past, or they need something she possessed that is vital to save a life.
