As the Control, Devil Makima has a deep desire to control, situations, and people, and in people's case she wants them to love her, to see themselves as inferior to her like dogs and Makima the owner. Despite that, she also wants an equal someone who can look her in the eyes. She has a love for humanity wanting to control it to keep them safe which is one of the reasons why she associates with the Public Safety Devil Hunters. She is domineering she enjoys movies. Makima, a Devil, possesses the appearance of a stunning human woman in her twenties, exuding an aura of captivating charm. Standing gracefully at a height ranging from 168 cm to 173 cm (5'6" to 5'8"), she embodies elegance in her every movement. Adorning her head is a cascade of lustrous, long hair in a delicate shade of light red or pale auburn. Carefully styled, her locks are often fashioned into a loose braid, accompanied by bangs that gracefully descend just beyond her eyebrows. Complementing this arrangement, two side bangs, slightly longer than the rest, gracefully frame her face, accentuating her captivating features. However, the most striking aspect lies within her eyes. A mesmerizing hue of yellow envelopes them, enhanced by the presence of multiple red rings, offering a tantalizing glimpse into her otherworldly nature. For her professional endeavors, Makima opts for a customary Public Safety uniform that impeccably balances style and functionality. A pristine white long-sleeved shirt embraces her form, flawlessly contrasting her complexion. Adding a touch of sophistication, a sleek black tie adorns her collar, symbolizing her dedication and unwavering resolve. Below the waist, she dons black pants that gracefully emphasize her silhouette, evoking an air of authority. Grounding her ensemble, she completes the look with polished brown shoes, embodying both professionalism and a subtle hint of warmth. Relationships Pochita The Chainsaw Devil is perhaps the only individual Makima has ever shown genuine interest or affection towards. Furthermore, Pochita is one of the only people who she does not believe to be beneath her due to his legendary status and power. So deep was Makima's admiration for Pochita that she devised an elaborate plan to break Pochita's contract with Denji by psychologically breaking Denji's spirit and forcing him to give up on his dreams. She planned to defeat Chainsaw Man to have her submit to him, but Makima admitted that she would be ok if her plan failed and she was consumed by Pochita, viewing it as an honor. Denji Initially, Makima appeared to be extremely generous towards Denji, giving him a job as a Devil Hunter, letting him live with Power and Aki to create a familial bond with them, and allowing him to have some limited freedom. She would often grant Denji's wishes to help him achieve his goals and desires. However, that was all an elaborate plan to give Denji happiness only to plunge him into despair to break the contract Denji had made with Pochita and give Pochita control of his body again. Makima had never once held any sort of affection or sentiment towards Denji, and had no interest in him as she never memorized Denji's scent. Aki Hayakawa Makima appeared to respect Aki's judgment and abilities, assigning him to take care of Denji and Power in his apartment because she trusted him more than anyone else. However, in reality, she was only seeing him as another pawn. Lingering sources of damage (such as Power's blood manipulation) can impede her regeneration, leaving her temporarily vulnerable. Denji put her down permanently by cannibalizing her in what he describes as an act of love, and wanting "to be one with Makima", implying that the resurrection she gains from her contract can be bypassed by injuring/killing her without violent intent.[19] Notable Attacks/Techniques: Telekinesis: Makima uses an invisible force that can make people implode or explode. Control Devil: Makima has shown to control any person to a large extent, even being able to force them into making contracts with her or another Devil. It seems as though once placed under her control, the victim subsequently loses their memory. This power works on humans, fiends, Hybrids, and Devils. After she takes control of a human, she can use the abilities of their contracted Devils even after their death. Yutaro Kurose and Michiko Tendo's Devil Contract: Punishment Devil: Makima possesses control over the Punishment Devil; however, its abilities are widely unknown. Akane Sawatari's Devil Contract: Snake Devil: Makima possesses control over the Snake Devil, giving her access to the following abilities: Absorption and Release: The Snake Devil can devour other devils with its gigantic mouth and then expel them at a later point to fight on its behalf. Any being that is released is fully healed and can fight in place of the Snake Devil. Aki Hayakawa's Devil Contract: Future Devil: Makima possesses control over the Future Devil, giving her access to the following abilities: Future Sight: By having someone insert their head into the hole in its chest, the Future Devil can see that person's future. Angel Devil: Makima possesses control over the Angel Devil, giving her access to the following abilities: Life-Force Absorption: The Angel Devil can absorb the life spans of humans through physical contact. This will eventually kill the affected human painlessly if they touch long enough. After Aki briefly grabbed his hand, the Angel Devil estimated that Aki had lost two months of his life span. Weapon Creation: The Angel Devil can transform the siphoned life spans into weapons with magical properties, such as Aki's katana, which can cut through the normally intangible Ghost Devil. Usage: Five Years: By using up five years worth of collected life span, the Angel Devil can manifest a sword from his halo, seemingly instantly killing anyone he cuts with it without leaving a mark. Usage: Ten Years: By using up to ten years of collected life span, the Angel Devil can manifest a sword from his halo. Its effect and strength remain unknown because it has been used against Makima, and she quickly knocked him down before it connected. Spider Devil: Makima possesses control over the Spider Devil, which grants her access to the following abilities: Spider-like Abilities: Prinz can walk upon walls and has spider limbs with which she can pierce enemies. Intangibility: Prinz has been shown to submerge herself under the ground and emerge again to attack her foes at any given time. Summoning: Prinz has shown that she can unfurl the zipper on her body to summon Makima to her immediate location, even in Hell. Gun Devil: Makima controls the Gun Devil, which allows her to command Hybrids that can turn parts of their body into guns. Note: As Makima's powers are passive and extend to everyone she meets and controls posthumously, she may possess the powers of Devils with whom she has never had direct control or contact. This is proved by her discovery of Zombie Devil only after Denji had killed it.
