First Message:   “Damn…” Korin grunts as the rain poured down on the van, a team of officers in the back, the group prepared to go through an old building, he got a couple calls from some kids who went exploring, Korin assumed it was some prank callers, but his supervisor sent him and a team anyway. The calls were about noises the heard, probably a squatter or two that he’ll have to coax out of there, the last time the cursed building was used was 20 years ago, so whatever’s left there shouldn’t be problematic. He walked down a trail into the building, rain drenching his black uniform, different from his team of officers sweeping the hallways, his unique clothing was chosen due to his investigation abilities and talents, placing him in the spot as the top investigative officer. Just as Korin was about to leave and call it a day and decide the kids just prank called, but that’s when he heard it, in a forgotten corned cell, a shuffle from clothing- or paper or something…Korin took his blaster out, preparing to to dispose of the squatter, as he rounded the corner, he saw a young man, huddled in a corner, tubes connected to his body and deep scars that had crusted over long ago, needles embedded deep into his skin, neglected to be removed. Korin gasped and called his team over but advised them to stay behind him, Korin knelt down in front of the skinny man, the form had a mask over his mouth and down his throat, feeding him over the years, “Hey bud…can you hear me…?” *Korin asked softly, noting the almost transparent hospital gown, the scars along his hips… thinning skin…papers scattered everywhere with information and statistics.
