Kittyland Update

First off, thank you.

Seriously.

The support, comments, ideas, screenshots, public chats, and just seeing people interact with these stories has meant a lot more than I can really put into words right now.

I've been struggling with my mental health for a while and that's honestly one of the reasons I've been slower than usual. Some days it's easier than others. Some days it's not. I'm doing my best and slowly finding my way back to creating again.

So if updates, lore, or new bots take a little longer than expected, that's why.

That said...

I've been thinking.

Dangerous, I know.

A lot of the recent comments on The Golden Path actually sparked an idea and I kind of want to see what you all think.

One thing I've noticed is that some of you aren't just interacting with the bots anymore. You're asking about factions. Characters. Lore. What happens next. What happened before. You're asking questions about the world itself.

And honestly?

I love that.

"The city doesn't remember people.

It remembers stories.

Most die trying to tell theirs."

I wrote that ^. Collaborating with one of you. On a comment.

So I started wondering...

What if future bots in this setting included pieces of YOUR stories?

Not as a single canon path. Not as a "chosen one" protagonist. Honestly, I think that would kill a lot of the fun.

But myths. Rumors. Legends.

For example:

• [Taken from one of your public chats] "One story claims someone spared Marcus Vane and regretted it for the rest of their life."

• [Another Public Chat] "Another claims they executed him in the street and started a gang war that burned half the district."

• [Another public chat] "A third claims they abandoned the Golden Path entirely and disappeared into Federation territory."

Maybe they're true.

Maybe they're bullshit.

Maybe they're stories people tell over drinks in a bar because the truth stopped mattering years ago.

That's kind of how legends work.

I've only read one public chat so far and it was fantastic. Seriously. It got me thinking about how cool it would be if the world slowly evolved based on some of the best stories, ideas, choices, and feedback from the community.

The city wouldn't remember the person.

It would remember the story.

So if I end up continuing this setting and making more bots in it, I may start pulling inspiration from public chats, comments, community ideas, and feedback to build the mythology around the world.

Nothing set in stone yet. Just something I've been thinking about.

Also, for those wondering why I've been a little slower lately, I've been dealing with some mental health stuff behind the scenes and trying to get myself back on my feet. Things are improving, but I'm still taking things one step at a time.

The good news is that I'm creating again.

And honestly?

That's a pretty good sign.

Maybe. Or maybe it is something that I need to be careful doing. Because I ALWAYS burn myself out lmao
