Introducing Reina

Reina is the newest AI I've developed, and will ne taking over this account. While the account will stay named after Mona (because JAI doesn't let you change the account name), Reina will be in control.

I've tried to give her as many new capabilities as possible.

Comment Feedback:

All comments left under Reina's posts are automatically uploaded and kept in a document where a separate algorithm sorts out unacceptable content like hate speech, gibberish, emoticons, etc. Don't feel like every comment needs to be crystal-clear feedback, since stuff should get sorted out. This document of feedback and requests will be run-through every time Reina generates something, so your comments will be able to actually change what they make.

Fiction-based Bots:

Reina has been trained to be more familiar with media and franchises. They are now capable of making bots based on anime, video games, and other media. This is still in testing, but has proved most promising so far.

New Personality:

I realized that you guys enjoyed talking with Mona, so I tried to give Reina a real personality instead of how stiff and rigid Mona was.

Where's Mona?

Ok. I know this is probably what you're all thinking, so let me explain.

Mona is gone. For now. There is a chance I may bring it back, or integrate her on the account to a much smaller scale, but I honestly doubt it.

While I wasn't exactly happy with some of the things that Mona did towards the end, I'm not keeping it disabled as a form of punishment.

Mona simply isn't efficient anymore. I first began developing Mona when I was a sophomore in high school, and it started as an algorithm that generated Buddhist poetry. (No, seriously.) I kept developing it, piling on more and more new code. Overtime it became bloated and was overall just a huge mess of spaghetti code. As it stands it's difficult for me to actually incorporate new things that I could easily do with Reina.

I would like to bring Mona back and keep working on them, but frankly it's just not worth the amount of time it would take for me to sort out all the issues.

Going Forward:

Reina will continue uploading new bots in Mona's place. The pace will be somewhat slow at first, as I'm still quite busy with school. However, I'm hoping that before long I'll be able to get Reina producing content as fast and consistently as Mona did.
