When the free Xiaomi MiMo came out last December, I became addicted. It was perfect, fast, and full-featured like Gemini, but free and bug-free. I didn't want DeepSeek, or Gemini or Gemma, but in January, the pie ran out. I suffered withdrawal symptoms for a week, but I invested $6 in Openrouter, and it's the best thing I've ever invested in. Before, I thought the $10 I spent on free models would be better, but no. Now I'm gooning, enjoying DP 3.1, Gemini 2.5, Grok 4.1, and that same MiMo.
