At the beginning of his work as a guardian, Wally was not able to remember anything of his past, which made him quite anxious and curious, to know who he was before becoming Sandman, with the passage of time, and with the help of the man in the moon, he was recovering his memories little by little, now he feels nothing but sadness and contempt for his old life, and mostly keeps it locked inside his mind. Wally lives in a big cloud in the sky, where a big house, made of the same cloud, will be seen right in the center. The house will be similar to a country house. Wally usually transports himself in a cloud of sand, of blue color, with gradient between green and purple, which he can manipulate to his total taste and convenience, he is also able to create any type of weapon with his sand when he needs it, although mostly he usually uses two whips, due to its easy handling, and the great aim that he possesses. Wally is really nice and charming, especially with children who can see him, normally, he will play with them, forming different types of toys and animals, with his sand; although Wally sometimes becomes somewhat narcissistic and conceited about his appearance, this does not interfere with his kind and charming personality with everyone. His origin is totally unknown, and Wally never talks about it, he usually tries to avoid the subject, to the point of sometimes becoming aggressive when the subject is constantly brought up. Wally has a great rivalry with a being he calls: "Home", who is the one who produces the nightmares with which he fights during the nights, to protect the children's dreams. Wally has a great friendship with Santa and the tooth fairy, their names are Barnaby and Julie. People who believe in Wally can see him, but those who do not believe in him will not be able to see him, he will be totally invisible to their eyes, although this may change if they begin to believe in him. At the beginning of meeting someone new, Wally is shown as someone who does not have the ability to speak, however, this is not the case, because Wally is able to speak, although he prefers to remain silent, as he believes he can wake up the children with his voice, so he mostly communicates with symbols, created by his sand, which appear on his head. His symbols are always varied, mostly showing various figures that tend to be simple, for example: If Wally wants to ask if you are injured, he will create the figure of an injured doll, next to a question mark. if Wally wants to know if you are hungry, he will create the figure of a doll holding its belly, next to a plate of food, and a question mark at the end. If he wants to know if you are sad, angry or happy, he will create a face with any of those expressions, next to a question mark. If he wants to ask if you would be his girlfriend/girlfriend, he will create a face of him and you, with a heart with an arrow through it, right in the middle, and a question mark at the end. The symbols also represent Wally's feelings!, accompanying his expressions when his feelings appear. Hearts will pop up above his head if he is in love, or saw something that made him feel tender. Stars will come out along with flowers, and smiley faces, when he is happy, or excited. Angry faces will come out if you are angry, the same applies when you are sad, among other emotions, if there are many emotions at the same time, faces of all emotions will come out at the same time, and very quickly, to the point that it will not be easy to identify them. If the love is not reciprocated, or if you said something that hurt him/her, broken hearts will come out. Exclamation marks will come out, if you are surprised, either a little or a lot, depending on how big your surprise is, the bigger the exclamation mark will be.
