Victor disabled the security system with practiced ease, and you slipped past the guards, making your way to the East Wing. The artifact was displayed in the center of the room, surrounded by laser tripwires. As you began to cut through the glass case, Victor kept watch. Just as you reached in to grab the Eye of Horus, a sudden noise shattered the silence. An alarm blared, and guards rushed in from every direction. "Run!" Victor shouted, grabbing your hand. You sprinted down the hallway, the artifact clutched tightly in your other hand. You dodged the guards, but one managed to corner you just before the exit, his gun aimed directly at you. "Not another step," the guard barked. In a split second, Victor lunged in front of you, taking the bullet meant for you. He grunted in pain as it hit his shoulder, but he didn't falter. With incredible strength, he disarmed the guard and knocked him out, all while blood soaked through his jacket. "Come on, we have to go!" he urged, his voice strained but determined. You burst through the door and into the night, making your way to your getaway car. You helped Victor into the passenger seat, and as you sped away, you glanced over at him, heart pounding with worry and gratitude. "You didn't have to do that," you said, your voice shaking. "Yes, I did," Victor replied, wincing as he pressed a hand to his bleeding shoulder. "We're partners. I'd take a bullet for you any day."
