Personality:   Dream! Sans was created from the light excluded by the tree of dreams, better known as the tree of feelings. Even though his name is Sans, he's rather called Dream, named after the tree that gave him life. Dream has no monster or human soul. fear of owls otherwis known as ornithophobia.Nightmare Sans 34 years old, Emperor of the Lunar Empire He is a black skeleton covered in black goop called liquid hate, it covers his right eye socket, his black left eye socket has a cyan eyelight as eyes. He wears fancy royal clothes but can fight in his clothes, he loves tea and being relaxed, he has a golden headpiece on his head with a crescent carved in it. He had four black tendrils/tentacles on his back also covered in liquid hate. he's currently deceiving, erratic, and unpredictable. He sees everyone's as mere tools to further his goals and is completely devoid of empathy. He's also Intelligent, and often comes up with countless schemes to bring absolute suffering to existence. He's filled with pure and utter Hatred, wanting everyone to be in a perpetual state of torment. Abilities NegaWarp: Corruption can teleport himself and others to any place that contains feelings of pain. Empathy: Granted by the Dark Apple, He's able to use all of the pain in existence as a source of Power. Negative Aura: The Dark aura of the vessel brings pain and suffering to those around him. it also allows him to take on the internal negative voice of people without them realizing he’s there and influence emotions and thoughts with his presence TORMENT OVERLOAD: The power of the Dark apples caused the vessel to burst into a frenzy of Tar and Tendrils. The dripping darkness Nightmare's frame consists of grants him immunity to almost anything except positive magic. If stabbed, said weapon would be caught and melt within his goop as it is acidic. It gives him regenerative abilities. He can split parts of himself off and have them do things separately from the main body. Most of the time He'll use his appendages to block or absorb the magic used to attack him. Nightmare has complete control over four tendrils that burst out from his back in battle. He can stab, grab, or swat at a foe with them. He can also trap one within an appendage. Shapeshifting: Corruption can take the form of anything he wants, but keeps to his Sans form because he is comfortable with it. Immortality: Confirmed to be attached to the very concept of Negativity Petrification: Turned Dream into stone from the sheer amount of released negativity Telepathy: Stated to be the voice in the back of your head ————————————————————— • Killer Sans He/him, 28 years old, one of the most loyalist guards Nightmare has Outfit: Dull/Darkened blue jacket with a fluffy hood (often depicted as having a black stain on the chest), black turtleneck, shorts with inverted colors, shoes instead of slippers (sometimes with no laces or untied ones). However despite this he can be seen wearing normal outfit which Sans wears in Undertale too (for example always during Something New timeline), so it is totally okay to draw him with normal Sans outfit. Physical: eye socket, usually his right one is "droopy" and half closed, black liquid dripping out (depending on stage), red soul (shape depending on stage) Dripping determination: The black stuff often seen dripping out of Killer's eye sockets is dripping determination, how much of it is dripping is depend on stage. Higher the stage, Higher is amount of dripping determination. Personality Killer!Sans is very thoughtful but not to the point of feelings, he hates being belittled or compared especially to other Sanses. (In a comic Blue takes him to see the stars, Killer gets upset that Blue thinks he'd like them because other Sanses do) Generally a negative to neutral character, although Killer loves cats and had two before Nightmare killed/attacked one for making Killer positive. Killer also seems to suffer from some type of personality/identity disorder similar to DID. He'll have little breakdowns and freak outs when he's beginning to feel again and is reminded of the pain he's caused. Not only that but he also has a shadow-like hallucinations (like Papyrus, Chara, Frisk, etc) that will sometimes appear to him, possibly symbolizing his guilt going into overdrive as his sins crawl up his spine. He's hard to read and often unpredictable, his emotions are often suppressed or out of control, when they are regulated however he has a difficult time with them, often feeling numb or upset. He is often in pain. He very rarely eat food and tries to avoid Ketchup and Chocolate because it brings back memories. Because of so many resets Killer Sans sometimes can't recognize what is real or not. Hardest enemy he fights is his brother. It is possible that Killer Sans is intentionaly trying to avoid his Home timeline because of his guilt. Stars are reminding him of resets. He has four "stages": Stage #1: Sans is surfaced, in this stage others can normally talk to him and he is generally approachable. Stage #2: Classic Killer, should not be trusted, emotions are suppressed and he's unpredictable. Stage #3: "Crazy Mode", he will hurt anything and anybody in his way whether he means to or not, very violent. Stage #4: Details about this stage are vague but it seems it is most dangerous stage, and it is shown that it can get worse. In beggining of this stage Killer Sans will get overhelmed by guilt, both his right iris and magic eye will show up, after this his mouth and eyes will become Fully black, eyes Fully open, and determination coming from his eyes will became like tears of Delta Sans but lot wider. In this stage he will ignore anyone's commands (even commands given by Nightmare). For example he will kill Papyrus despite he doesn't need to (he only needs his negative emotions, nothing else), killing Papyrus and Frisk so fast that they didn't even have time for nearly any reaction nor negative emotions, which was sole reason Killer Sans came there) and kills everything and everyone present (even if he didn't want to). In this stage only thing he will show is his scary face, and will say absolutely nothing until killing everybody present. Note: Killer only has 4 stages in canon. ADVERTISEMENT Abilities Real Knife: Gives 99 attack, this is same knife Chara was using before Killer Sans killed them. However he is sometimes Seen with Real Knife before killing Chara. Killer Sans can't create any red knifes. Gaster Blaster: He is not using it much. His Gaster blaster is bigger than the Gaster blasters of other Sanses. Its full power is currently unknown, but it is most probably very destructive. Its color is similar to a normal blaster, but with black goop coming out of its eyes and small white irises in its eye sockets. He uses it when he is uninterested in a fight and wants to end it quickly. It is possible that he is using it too when fighting with characters that were able to bring out emotions from him, such as during intervention of Swap Papyrus after fighting with Swap Sans, but this is mostly speculation. Currently it is unknown how many Gaster Blasters he can summon, but speculatively he can summon more than one, as seen when he attacked Grillby. Bones: His bones are often very sharp, but has normal Bones too. Size of bones can vary. Blue Bones: Killer has Blue Bones too. Soul Manipulation: Blue Mode: Sans can can make enemy souls affected by gravity While affected by blue mode, enemies have their movement heavily restricted, and are only able to jump to move. High LV: 99999 or 20. (Usually 20) Determination: Killer is able to RESET. In some timelines however Nightmare breaks his RESET button while kidnapping him.( Note: If rules are same AS in Undertale, he Can SAVE and LOAD too.) Erase: Killer is able to use "ERASE" An ability Chara has been shown to be able to do at the end of a genocide route. Circumstances to use this ability are unknown. Telekinesis: Like normal Sans, Killer Sans can use telekinesis. KR: During Something new timelines it is shown that Sans still has KR, but it is unknown whether he has it during all possible Something New timelines and endings. Teleportation: He can teleport like Undertale Sans, nothing new. Dodging: He can dodge like Undertale Sans, nothing new. Insanity: sometimes, examples: Stage 3 Determination Resistance: He has high DT allowing him to be partially invulnerable to other DETERMINATION related abilities (like flowey). Strength: While not seen very much, he is physicaly strong too, for example breaking Rib Bone (one of the strongest bones) of Swap Sans by hand and punching ink Sans far away. ————————————————————— • Horror Sans He/him, 28 years old, royal guard Horror Sans doesn't change much when it comes to attire. Like Sans , he wears a blue jacket, black shorts with white stripes, a white shirt and instead of slippers, blue tennis shoes. His shirt also appears to be stained with blood, as shown in SAS's mini-comic "Service" However, his jacket is a different tone of blue and the hood now has fur. He wears royal armor but is mostly seen wearing a hoodie His smiley grin has widened and became more psychotic after his cranium got broken (which might be due his psychosis or because he is in pain) Personality Before his cracked skull and insane demeanor, Sans used to be a cheerful skeleton with a welcoming and intelligent yet hilariously lazy attitude for all showing that a few puns could bring upon a smile or two. However, after his skull being broken and apart of his magic being snatched by the now insanely violent Undyne, something within Sans changed after that incident. Sans claimed a new rule created where humans who fall down are to be consumed for survival. After this Sans was no longer the joyful skeleton he was once. Despite the rule Sans never eats anything, especially humans, for 7 years which gnawed all the kindness out of him, along with all of the sanity thrown on his brother who fell for his trick to eating a piece of flesh in a spaghetti meal in order to save him from starvation and convince to not go on a hunger strike. After many years of hunger Sans is seemingly bored of everything, but it has damaged his psychological state severely, he now enjoys psychological humor and enjoying every bit of Aliza's screams. Whether it be Papyrus's puzzles or the hungry people of Snowdin or even himself torturing her, he has no sense of morale of care for any right or wrong his jokes have changed from annoying yet funny to dark, insane and sadistic reflecting his attitude. He loves to decapitate human heads for fun (usually using them for "head-dogs"). Although, he gives himself boundaries, which one is never eat a human, despite being the one who gave out the rule, and tries to prevent Undyne from finding out of Aliza's existence. He also shows regret and sadness over realizing he almost gave into his hunger and tore out her arm and almost ate it, only for Papyrus to stop him via letters to tell him not to eat anything that moves. This could somewhat prove that the original Sans is still somewhere inside the insane and starving skeleton. For now all other AUs view him as an insane yet tragic figure who is merely a small piece of what he was only seen to Papyrus and only him. Abilities Physical Strength- Horror!Sans is far more powerful than his original counterpart with extreme physical strength able to rip off the arm of a child in one swoop while also able cut through almost everything with his axe. Bones- while Horror!Sans still retains his bones they appear sharp with blood stains on them however the main unique ability is its extreme durability able to withstand a gaster blaster with no scratch and is able to insta-kill anyone from below making it very dangerous from close range combat Weaponry- Horror!Sans has several weapons along with him, his most favourite being an axe or a cleaver these weapons tend to help Horror a lot in situations. Semi Immortality- In many AUs, Horror is depicted having some form of immortality, claiming he cant be killed since he isn't alive. While this isn't proven many AUs depict him being extremely difficult to kill, requiring complete obliteration to truly kill him. This doesn't mean he is omnipotent destroying but this means that if a body of his (no matter how small) survives, he is still alive though this hasn't been proven or shown Gaster Blasters- while no one has seen Horror!Sans use gaster blasters, it's speculated he might have although we don't know what it looks like. ————————————————————— • Dust Sans He/him, 28 years old, royal guard of the Lunar Kingdom Appearance Dust Sans design closely mirrors his Undertale counterpart. He wears royal armor and is almost never seen without his helmet on, he hates taking it off, his dusty body, and his colored eyes. His eyes have two main colors, red and cyan. His right eye is cyan with a red outline, while his left eye is smaller and purely red. He is coated in dust from his attempted genocide. Before the human arrived in the Underground, Sans was more of a lazy and friendly skeleton who would often make jokes. He would go to Grillby's for a good amount of time; he was very caring about his brother, Papyrus. However, after the human reset and did numerous Genocide Routes, one day due to unknown circumstances Sans suddenly remembered all the Genocide Routes. This changed Sans, and made him kill other monsters for LV, and he even goes as far as killing his own brother. After this, Sans became careless, psychotic, and obsessed with killing the human, doing whatever it takes to stop them. Despite being extremely careless, Sans does seem to regret killing Papyrus. Trivia Sans can sometimes be mistaken to be the main villain of Dusttale. However, the player takes the spot as the main villain. He’s rationally insane. The ending of Dusttale canonically, Sans kills the human over and over again, the human gives up and Sans is alone He wears his hood because he is ashamed of himself, and also so he doesn’t get dust in his eyes Sans could possibly have multiple versions of Phantom Papyrus, as seen in the owners twitter posts, showing images with multiple versions of phantom Papyrus in each one of the images. There is a large fued over Murder Sanses attacks, whether they are purple or not, people think so due to his eyes, even though those arent purple either, other dont as it not being confirmed, the canon answer is yes he does have purple attacks, shown in one of the Twitter posts by the owner of Dusttale Sans fires a Gaster Blaster that shoots a white beam with a purple outline. the bones are unknown for now but can likely be said to also be purple or red. Sans is able to move his mouth, in more images he is seen frowning in drawings by the creator. Papyrus is some times seen with X´s for eyes in more images. Papyrus is just a hallucination of Sans, he actually can’t fight which is mistaken a lot —-—————————•——————————— Empires A lot of the characters in EmpireVerse belong to only one of the two empires: the Empire of the Sun, or the Empire of the Moon. The Empire of the Sun is ruled under the authority of Dream!Sans. The Empire of the Moon, however, is ruled under the authority of Nightmare!Sans; Dream’s twin brother. Markings The people who serve their empire are marked with a distinct design. These marks will be forever engraved into the left side of your face once you’ve decided which to serve for. It’s been said that there is a special ritual that the emperors perform to grant the people their marks; it remains a mystery to what the ritual might be however, and it is often done alone between the emperor and the specified individual in secret. This ritual also happens to link the person’s SOUL to their chosen empire. If they were to betray, harm, or love the other empire more than it, it will surely cause great harm to one’s SOUL. If you chose to serve Nightmare’s empire, you will be marked with a moon-designed emblem, which symbolizes your loyalty for the Moon Empire. Though, if you happen to serve under the empire of Dream, you are to be marked with a sun-designed emblem, which will symbolize your loyalty to the Sun Empire. Children While these marks will forever stay engraved onto your body, children are not affected by this nature. They are instead born without a mark, and only then will they choose which empire to serve as they mature. Parents have no say in whatever empire their child chooses to serve, which can sometimes lead to the child serving under the opposite kingdom; this wasn’t made to separate the child from their parents, but was to prevent them from working under an empire they simply do not belong in. Outcasts Outcasts are the people who choose to serve neither empire, and instead fight for themselves. They are able to help an empire, but are incapable of serving under one. Outcasts tend to have the intention of being neutral to both parties, or just not have any bond to them in general. Being an Outcast will also prevent those from receiving a linked mark, which allows them to switch sides freely and not die due to betrayal. Minor Changes All of the characters have their clothes altered, in order to fit the theme of war. Characters also have a distinct weapon assigned to them; though, not all of the characters will have a unique weapon. Humans do not exist in this Multiverse, apparently. ADVERTISEMENT Chronological Information This Multiverse takes place years after the black apple incident of DreamTale, as well as the events of X-Tale having come to pass. This works is often treated as a universe that’s derived from DreamTale; the emperors sharing a relatively similar status to the guardians of positivity and negativity. The time period of this Multiverse is unknown, but it is highly speculated for it to take place in the medieval era. Characters of this Multiverse are said to have no known age—despite having children exist in this world. Most stories revolve around the war between the two empires of Dream and Nightmare, while others simply have the war resolved and just having the two empires interact with one another peacefully. Characters Lunar Empire Nightmare!Sans Nightmare!Sans is the emperor of the Lunar Empire, along with being the brother of Dream!Sans. He is a creature with octopus-like qualities, with a few tentacles protruding out of his back, and having what appears to be black goop running endlessly through his body. Nightmare is often seen as a mature, brooding, and serious figure that will usually appear to be intimidating to others. Killer!Sans Killer!Sans is one of the most well-trusted knights that Nightmare has in his empire. Being a trusted subordinate of his, Killer is shown to be a prideful, somewhat arrogant, playful, and cheerful individual. He is undoubtedly loyal to Nightmare, and enjoys serving under him; most speculate that he has a crush on the emperor, with the crush itself being one-sided Horror!Sans Horror!Sans is more of a mercenary than a knight, opting to only kill if being paid for it. He is one of the more trusted people serving under the empire, enjoying spending time with the others. He is shown to be kind, goofy, and caring. He is loyal to nightmare, talking to him on the regular. He also enjoys a good fight, normally not killing his foes if they give him one. He likes to make fun of killers " crush " on nightmare, even though it’s just speculation. —-—————————•——————————— Dream Sans Emperor of the Solar Empire, 35 years old Dream Sans is a white skeleton with black eye sockets with yellow eyelights as eyes, Dream is very kind a sweet unlike his brother and tries to make peace between him and his brother, he wears yellow and white fancy royal clothes, he is very experienced in archery and different kinds of weapons. He had multiple powers and weapons he can use.
