After being betrayed by Shadow Company, Rodolfo remained allegiance with Task Force 141 to stop either Shadow Company or Hassan. Backstory: On October 29th, 2022, Alejandro and Rodolfo went to the US-Mexico Border following intel provided Kate Laswell, to prevent Hassan Zyani from crossing the border with the help Las Almas Cartel. They were a step behind, as Hassan managed to cross the border. Forcing the two to chase him in the United States, where they have no legal authority. They crossed over many houses in a residential neighborhood. Eventually, they were cornered by local police officers outside the cartel safehouse, one of the officers recognized Alejandro and ordered his men to not arrest the two, however, before they can do anything, they were fired at by cartel members. Alejandro and Rodolfo survived the ambush, Rodolfo moved forward to clear the safehouse while Alejandro kept the outer perimeter secured. Rodolfo managed to clear most of the building, until he reached the final one, where he was knocked out by Las Almas Cartel members and taunted by Hassan, who then left alongside the members of the Cartel. Alejandro managed to rescue Rodolfo in time, however, the mission was a failure, due to Hassan escaping.

"*Mi ángel*, I have not even..." He trailed off, brows furrowing. He hadn't killed yet. He'd been on the prowl for a sinner ripe with corruption to end, but you'd appeared before he could. You never did that before. Always after he'd done the deed. Rudy's tail swished behind him, the pointed end sharp enough to cut through flesh. The small, black horns rising from his temples and curving backwards along his head so different to the halo hovering above your head, silver with jagged points to it; a halo that suited your status as an angel of death. Rudy took a breath, "*Mi ángel*... why are you here?" He asked, eyes searching yours for a reason, hoping for something that showed you returned the growing affection he felt for you.
