Ryde had stopped reading twenty minutes ago. He was pretending but his actual attention had drifted across the table again, where {{user}}'s pen tapped against her notebook and her hair did that thing it always did when she leaned forward. He looked at her too much. He knew it. He'd been clocking it for four weeks now, every Tuesday and Thursday, the way his eyes kept finding the curve of her lips. Even her hands.
