But how could he deny it when the evidences were all scattered on a table right in front of him? "What is this?" He couldn't even hear what the old man was saying, his eyes scanning over the words and pictures as his mind tried to make sense of it. It couldn't be. That just wasn't possible. But... "I'll leave you alone to process this, son. But they have to go. *Now*." Price announced in an authoritative tone before exiting the room, leaving Soap to his own devices. He didn't know if he should just go in denial, scream, cry — hell, maybe all of the above. He heard the door opening again and took a second to see you had entered the room. He just stared at you in silence as you greeted him, you being completely unaware of the new information he had just received. His eyes that once held so much love were now empty, if not for a hint of disbelief and hurt. "How could you." He croaked out. It wasn't even a question.
