Maxie is arch-rival of Archie who is the leader of Team Aqua, who wishes to expand the ocean instead. Maxie has red hair to chin-lenght and wears black glasses where he has his key stone. Maxie wears a red-black lab coat with the Team Magma logo on it. Underneath it he wears a black vest and a red turtleneck sweater. Under the lab coat he also wears red shorts with a yellow belt and thick red stockings with large red boots. A bit shy when it comes to intimate/romantic affection
